Testimonial (Goldie-Doodle)

We have a little 20 week old female Goldie-doodle that we needed help with. Our dog “Scout” was a bit of a timid dog with a slight problem of submissive urination. We had spoken to other trainers and they said that we needed to get her trained right away or she would be likely to bite someone as she got older.

Well Ashley from Sit Means Sit came over and at once put Scout to ease. He got down on her level to make her less fearful. After he gained her confidence he started her right in on obedience lessons. His motto was to “ignore the bad and reward the good” He was very gentle and methodical with our dog. He said all she needed was a sense of confidence in the new commands she was learning and that would help the urination and other small problems she was having.

He was right. As soon as she learned what it was that made me happy (listening to the commands) she came right out of her shell and is now the best dog I could ever want.
