Safety Rule #1
During a basic obedience group class situation, owners should keep their dogs at least 3 feet apart from other dogs unless otherwise directed.

Safety Rule #2
If the dog or owner is showing signs of stress, take a break.

Safety Rule #3
All dogs must have completed all their required vaccinations (i.e. DHLPP, bordatella, and corona)

Safety Rule #4
Training collars and other equipment must fit properly.

Safety Rule #5
Students with substandard or unauthorized training equipment may not be allowed to participate in training classes.

Never allow a dog to be left unattended while in class.

Proper footwear must be worn at all times in any training class.

When holding a leash, proper leash holding procedures should be used.

All children involved in training must have adult supervision at all times.

Never aggresively force a dog into a behavior.
