Positive feedback from a Dog Training Seminar

I was in Missouri last week on vacation, and on my way back to Atlanta I stopped in Paducah for the second day of an introduction to remote collar dog training seminar Fred Hassen (CEO of Sit Means Sit) and Elite K9 were conducting.

From what I was told this particular dog (Gracie) was extremely fearful of people. They told me that she was already much better than she was when they started the seminar, but she still tried to avoid people.

After working with them on Gracie’s position in heel, and helping with some motivation and timing training to help with her confidence (this took about 20 min), Gracie was walking up to other people, waging her tail, and allowing them to pet her. She even jumped in my lap once.

This is the email that I got from Scott and Joan:

Chris,

I just wanted to thank you for spending so much time working with us at the Kentucky seminar. We really appreciated all your help, ideas, and input. Gracie is doing really great at home even better than at the seminar. I look forward to working her every day and seeing just how good we can get her. Her personality has really opened up and she is a much happier dog because of it. Thanks again for all your help and good luck to you in the future.
