4th Annual Walk/Run for the Animals - Atlanta Animal Alliance

It’s back and so am I to extend another invitation to last years participants and to all new walkers, runners and more importantly all animal lovers to join "Team Trib & SMS" for the 4th Annual Atlanta Walk/Run for the Animals on September 27th, 2008.

Every year the Atlanta Animal Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals, holds this event to raise money for indigent animals. Last year Team Trib raised over $3,000 and this year we are again joining forces with Sit Means Sit to raise even more money!!!

Why:Benefit to raise money for the medical care of homeless animals
Where:Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green
6110 Bluestone Rd. Sandy Springs, GA
1 Mile Walk/Run:1 Mile Walk/Fun Run starts at 10:15 a.m.
Cost:$20/$30 (after Sept 21) to Walk/Run - Expo Admission is FREE
Event Open:8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration Opens at 8:00 a.m.
Stage PerformanceContinuous Family Entertainment and Live Music
Pet Super AdoptionPet Super Adoption with over 500 dogs available - purebred & Mixed Breeds

Each individual who makes up "Team Trib & SMS" will be able to register online and create a FREE web page to collect pledges. Your web page can be emailed to anyone you know. So be sure to ask employers, co-workers, friends, family members, your church, neighbors, and local businesses to go online and donate. Also, any donations you collect offline can be recorded on your webpage and you will turn these in the day of the event.

Also, for a small donation,Sit Means Sit will be conducting the AKC Canine Good Citizen test throughout the event!! Proceeds from the testing will benefit the Atlanta Animal Alliance
