"I have been pleased with the training methods by Sit means Sit. I’ve had various dogs for all of my adult life and have seen methods change over the years. My first pup was trained by the pop the leash method who turned out wonderful as did my "bait trained" Yorkshire terriers which I had years later.
Presently my Airedale Terrier is 4 years old. She was the first to be clicker trained. However my Airedale, Belle is obsessed with food…….which I believe resulted from the click & treat method or at the least was made worse because of the click and treat training.
Even with all of the tricks & skills the clicker method allowed me to teach her, walking without pulling on the leash was not taught to my satisfaction. I simply grew tired of trying. Going for a walk meant having a pocket full of bait and it was more trouble than it was worth. I owned a dog which could do several tricks, but could not go on a relaxing walk. A year ago we added a 2nd dog,Gladys. ( Spinone Italaino). She is 15 months old now. With Sit means Sit, Gladys learned quickly and now Belle knows how to walk pretty also!
It feels great to walk with a the largest of the terrier group and have control!
I recommend the Sit means Sit method to everybody!
