Duluth Veterinarian and Dog Training Client Testimonial
"I joined the Atlanta Sit Means Sit classes in September of 2007 with my bloodhound, Karma. Karma had been to 2 other obedience courses since my adopting her earlier that year, but I found that I had a hard time keeping her attention. I was always having to pull on her leash, and I had to use a choke chain to keep her focused and under control. I would never had considered letting her off-leash, and hated to be pulling on her neck with the chain every time we went for a walk. All that changed when the trainer we had been working with referred us to Sit Means Sit, where we met Vanessa. This has been a life changing experience for both of us- it has improved the way we communicate and strengthened our bond. There is no longer that level of frustration in having her do what I ask. No one ever expected my stubborn hound to be very well trained, but she has exceeded my expectations and does so happily. We have been going to weekly classes for over a year now and have had the opportunity to work with Darin, Chris and Alex as well. Karma loves her doggy school day and the other dogs in the class, and I love that I can now work her off-leash. All the trainers have obviously found their calling in this profession. It is wonderful to work with a group people that understand dogs and have an amazing way of training not only the dogs, but the owners! I am glad to see that when there are dogs that have issues with each other or with a particular task that they take the time at that moment to address it and help them work through it. Thanks to everyone with Sit Means Sit who has worked with Karma to give us the relationship that we have today! "
