Being a professional atlanta dog trainer, my job and passion often end up as the topic of conversation, no matter where I go. People are often telling me the wonderful stories of their dog or a dog that they once had. A very common question that I get is "what kind of dog is best for me?" or "what would be a good dog for my kids?". Many people often choose a dog based on looks alone or worse yet, from the latest popular movie. My recommendation is always to match a dog or breed to you and your family’s lifestyle. I have found an online quiz that helps narrow down your search. Having taken the test myself, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the recommendations were very accurate as they matched perfectly with the dogs that I already have. While I really like my dogs and many people see their work and assume that the same breed would be great for their family….wrong! What may fit my lifestyle could be a complete disaster for you or vice versa. For that reason, I recommend doing a little research before deciding on a dog breed. Take this test to narrow your results and then choose your new best friend.

ABOUT THE PARK
Our fenced off-leash park is located on two acres in the heart of Peachtree City and is open to Fayette County residents. It has a wood chipped base, trees and a gazebo for shade, and cleared areas for free running of the dogs. There is approximately 1 3/4 acres which is recommended for dogs over 30 pounds, the remaining in a separate fenced in area for small and senior dogs only. We now have a water fountain, but you may want to bring a water bowl.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Peachtree City Dog Park Association is a 501 (c) 3, all volunteer organization dedicated to providing the residents of Fayette County, Georgia with an off leash park for dogs. We strive to create a safe, secure, fenced area for dogs to play and socialize. The Association will promote responsible dog ownership and community education through our events and meetings.

Pooch on the Hooch was founded by Holly Bishop and Kimberly Eiklid. The partnership was born from a common love for animals, love of grooming and a strong personal friendship. We are both long-time professional groomers and "heads-up" business women. Together, we bring over 15 years of professional grooming experience to you.
Our goal is to provide our clientele with a place where they are comfortable leaving their furry babies in our care. Our friendly, knowledgable staff members are always happy to answer any questions you have or to show you around our facility at any time.
