Atlanta Goldendoodle Training Client Testimonial

“When I adopted my Goldendoodle, Sassy in August of 2007 everyone told me she was going to be BIG. We live in a townhome complex in Atlanta with many senior citizen residents. Sassy is all enthusiasm and loves everybody with total abandon so I knew that I was going to have to get her training to prevent her from jumping on everyone. I went online and looked at training alternatives and called Sit Means Sit. Darin was at our door a couple of days later with his dogs and showed me how well behaved a Sit Means Sit trained dog can be. Sassy and I took the plunge and in two one hour sessions she had the sit, down and heal commands in her vocabulary. We have been going to the Saturday classes for about a year now and Sassy just loves it! Darin Vanessa, Alex and Chris have been wonderful. Each one of them knows how to handle a variety of breed personalities (even the ones of questionable origin) and have truly met their calling. They make class fun for ALL the dogs – and owners too! Sassy passed her CGC in September (something I’m sure she wouldn’t have been able to do without Sit Means Sit) and is a polite happy girl! She didn’t get as big as predicted but Sassy has a giant personality and lives up to her name. Thanks Darin, Vanessa, Alex and Chris for helping the Sassy Girl and me bond in the best way possible.”

Atlanta Dog Training Client Testimonial – Goldendoodle Training

“We have a very large golden doodle, Howard, and we wanted him to be very well behaved and easy to handle, particularly as he is a big dog. We started with a food reward training program and very quickly learned our boy is too easily distracted to take a food bribe over rough housing with another dog. Then we went to ‘clicker school’. He didn’t even hear the clicker if he was distracted. Then a friend told us about Sit Means Sit and Darin came to visit and in 30 minutes showed us real training and real results. Sit Means Sit gave us the tools and the training to train Howard and so that we can expect – even more importantly RELY ON - great behavior. Everyone who comes to our home comments on Howard and how well behaved he is. I can walk him off-leash in our neighborhood with total confidence, I can meet anyone walking an untrained dog and know Howard won’t get caught up in anything and we can do so many things that are impossible with a poorly behaved dog at your side. The training is a process but it’s clear and straightforward. You need to be consistent so your pooch knows what you want from him and yes, of course, it takes up a few hours but every second will be time well spent. We can even take him to the group sessions to brush up on anything that we‘ve gotten a bit careless with and that’s always a great experience because we still learn a few new ideas and I can ask for help with anything new that’s come up for Howard. We’ve also seen some amazing transformations at the groups sessions in dogs who have had specific needs and issues and we’re always blown away by how the trainers work with every dog and get the best out of every dog. I can’t help but love everything about Sit Means Sit – I wish every dog (and owner) had the benefit of the training they offer. Howard’s awesome and we couldn’t be happier. I think you may be seeing our neighbor’s dog this weekend (Stedman, a beagle). I know you can help him. Alpharetta Dog Training – Halloween Fun

This is Sasha, a Belgian Malinois and dog training client of Sit Means Sit of Atlanta. When not being wrongly accused or falsely inprisoned Sasha can be found hanging around with her owner Dave, manager at the Pet Basket. "Sit means sit basically saved my dogs life. I was looking to give her back to the rescue or have her put to sleep because of her uncontrollable behaviors. She was aggressive with strangers, biting and nipping at not only my children but the neighbors children. We could not seem to control her. Sit means Sit was a blessing. It has given me a great dog. I can’t say enough about what it has done for me and my dog, Daphne. She is now much calmer, no longer does she nip or bite . She will come when I call to her. She stays on place , she walks at a heel and doesn’t constantly pull on the leash. I can’t thank you all enough. Everyone comments on what a different dog she is. Douglasville Dog Training Client Testimonial

"Darin and Chris,

We are very pleased with our experience with Sit Means Sit. People comment all the time on how well behaved our dog is. When we are out in public, like the park, Jackson is by far the most obedient dog we see. I’m happy that classes are on-going and that Jackson is allowed to attend “when-ever”. I don’t have a consistent work schedule, so that makes it a challenge for me to get to class on a regular basis. I’m glad class is available several times a week.

Katie’s puppy should be born around Thanksgiving. She is over the moon with excitement. She is also hoping you will offer the puppy class again so she can bring him. She should get the puppy around mid-January, so sometime after that. We’ll keep you posted.

Lithia Springs Dog Training Client Testimonial

"We were at our wits’ end when we called for help. Ringo is a 4 1/2 year-old Jack Russell. He is very spirited, to say the least. We acquired Ringo in November 2007. He apparently had no previous training. So, we had a challenge on our hands, and didn’t know what to do with it! We did go to the weekly group training at a big local retail store in Douglasville for several weeks. These classes showed us how much work we needed to do with Ringo.

To complicate matters, my daughter and her husband moved in with us 8 months ago. They have a black lab and an older German Pinscher. The three dogs make quite a stir.

I heard about your Sit Means Sit through my vet, and we decided to give it a try. Darin was so “in charge” from the beginning. I liked his style and felt Bill and I could duplicate what he did. We had two sessions with Darin and the third was with Chris. He was equally good with Ringo. Each of these men gave us plenty of time to ask questions and to answer them. They tried in every way to make us comfortable with the training. I really don’t know how they could have been better!!

I look forward to the group training in the coming weeks."
