If you are dealing with any kind of severe aggression try keeping the dog away from the situation untill you are able and have the tools to interupt the unwanted behavior. Find a skilled dog trainer that can show you how to redirect the dog in the given situation while keeping everyone safe. If the dog is never exposed to whatever is triggering the aggression he will never get better. At the same time if the behavior is not addressed, the dog will only get worse as it has more opportunites to practice and establish the bad habit.
