LOW COST VACCINATION CLINIC BENEFITS HELP HUMANE SOCIETY

HELP Humane Society, a No-Kill Cage-Free Animal Shelter, is holding a Low Cost Vaccination Clinic for Dogs and Cats at Man’s Best Friend, 329 S Mullen Rd, Belton Missouri on July 14, 2007. The event will run from 1:00 till 5:00, and all proceeds will benefit the homeless animals in the care of HELP Humane Society.

Vaccinations will be available for $25 for Rabies and Distemper, $10 for Rabies only, $15 for Distemper, and $7.50 for Nail Trims. A Local Veterinarian and her staff are donating their time that afternoon to help HELP’s homeless animals, and provide the public with an opportunity for vaccinations for those that can’t afford the prices. Please make sure all pets are secured on leash or in a carrier and be prepared for lines and interactions with other animals. Muzzle will be on hand if needed, so please let a volunteer know before entering the facility if your pet needs some restraint assistance.

HELP Humane Society has a cage-free No-Kill modern shelter at 511 Main in Belton that houses over 200 homeless cats, and a few good dogs. These cats live at the shelter until good homes are found. The facility has numerous free-roaming rooms where the resident cats can live in comfort while waiting for a family. They encourage you to tour the facility and hang out with some of the resident pets.

HELP Humane Society lives off donations, and realizes they can’t survive without the financial and emotional support from fellow animal lovers. HELP is always looking for more volunteers to join their team. The only experience necessary is a love for animals.
