People ask, “When will my dog be trained?” I think what they really mean is, “When can I stop training my dog.” 

Dog training never ends. It’s kind of like, “When will my kids be parented?” As long as they have a parent they will always be parented. Yes it’s true, the older and wiser a child gets the less parenting the child will need. The same is true of a dog. But never the less as long as a dog has an owner it will always need training.
