Testimony (Boxer)

My husband Jim bought me an adorable boxer puppy. I had been warned that they were energetic by a friend.I didn’t believe him though, till we got her home. She would not walk well on a leash……jumping……twisting,…… turning…… pulling and biting at the leash. She would yelp like we were hurting her just when we TRIED to walk her. When our grandkids would come over she would playfully run and jump on them knocking them to the ground. Any time we went into the back yard she would jump on us thinking we were out there to play with her. It was to the point where my husband was telling me she was going to have to go. I wasn’t about to let that happen. One day he was reading the paper and by chance there was an article about the ribbon cutting ceremony for Sit Means Sit. Jim called them the next day. They responded right away. When we first met Tom and his wife Carrie we were very impressed with their friendliness and love of animals. They did a wonderful, amazing demonstration with their own beautiful dog Tundra. I was ready to sign with them then.We introduced them to Princess and within 5 min of working with her Tom had her walking on a leash QUIETLY.She wasn’t jumping or yelping. We watched as he continued to work with her. I was so amazed at the difference. It was like he was a miracle worker!!! Today Princess is doing great. . We walk her and she minds her manners. She listens and pays attention to us. When the grandkids come over she meets them at the door, but no longer jumps on them or anyone else. Our grandkids can even work with her.I am so thankful that we found Tom and his wife Carrie. I was not about to lose my little Princess. Going to the group training sessions on Saturday mornings is the icing on the cake. They are a lot of fun and it just helps Princess continue to improve. This has been one of the best investments we could have made. I would recommend them no matter what type of dog or what the problem.
