I just wanted to comment on how good Bandit has done with his training with Troy. You must be a very great person for Bandit because over 2 months ago I unable to go into the house without Bandit trying to go after me, now he just smells and lays on the floor. You have changed that dog and I did think he could be changed, I was one of the poeple that told them to give up but now I’m glad they didn’t thank you Troy for all you work with them.

Below is a review posted by the client on City Search. Before I paste in that quote though, I wanted to comment on Bandit’s owners dedication. This could have very easily been a dog someone could have tried to justify to themselves to have put down or to leave at a shelter. However, these great owners took Bandit in when there were some issues from the start. When the issues got harder and more persistent, instead of giving up and giving up the dog, they called a dog trainer to work with them on his training and behavioral issues. They showed the kind of dedication necessary when you make a commitment to another living thing. Dogs are not toys, they are living creatures and deserve this kind of dedication. Bandit was a big handful and severely impacted their lifestyle. In the last month or so I have watched his owners work hard and follow direction (and get creative themselves) to work with Bandit and make huge changes in his behavior. Bandit is still a work in progress, but he is already a much happier, confident and most importantly less anxious dog. Great job Debbie and Bandit!!!

Sit Means Sit is amazing! The work they’ve done with my pit bull, Bandit, has been miraculous. Before Bandit started training with Troy, he was shy and fearful of other dogs. He also had anxiety problems when I would leave the room and would start chewing into anything, including the dry wall. His anxiety didn’t stop there. We couldn’t even take him outside without him being anxious and fearful of leaving his “home”.
With the four training sessions that Bandit has undergone, he’s had a complete 180 turn around. He’s able to go on the balcony without going crazy; barking, trying to jump over the balcony or trying to attack dogs that walk too close to the balcony.
His anxiety is still present, but we’re all able to leave the house without worrying about anything being chewed up. It’s a work in progress with him, but we are happy with his progress because we can take him on walks with leashes, we can let him roam on our balcony and we can let him be around other dogs. “
