    Hi,

I am wondering how much the puppy group classes in Belton are and how long they last. Our dog is about 14 weeks and is an “adoption special” – we know she has corgi but dont know what else. She’s very smart and knows a lot already.

Also, any chances a class will be available during the day on a weekday?

    Thanks!

We brought our dog in for the consultation, and he responded very well. I wish we could bring him for training, but my son has an extremely busy schedule, and we can’t make it work. So we are looking for another home for Jack. He is beautiful–jet black soft hair. Maybe Akita mix? Would be a wonderful dog trained. I think he would be the best agility dog in the world. About a year old. Neutered. Heartworm negative and on preventive. All vaccinations current. Any help finding him a very good home is appreciated.

Sharon, If you could put together a picture and some info about Jack we can place that information in our book at the office. This may help him find a home.

are your Saturday morning classes puppy classes or do you mix adult dogs with puppies? I have a bulldog pup that’s going to need to go through puppy obedience. I’ve taken all my dogs through puppy obedience classes and he’s no different. So I’m looking for someplace that offers specifically puppy classes rather than mixing the puppies with adult dogs.

  8. mikewheeler says:

    Natalie,
Great question! We do offer puppy obedience and would love the opportunity to meet with
you and your puppy. We offer a FREE consultation, where you can meet the trainer and go
over some goals and expectations. The trainer will work with your puppy and show you how
he takes to our training program, and if this is the right program for you and your dog. Please
call the office at 254-541-3343 to schedule an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I have read some reviews and watched videos about the dog training you offer and I am interested in speaking with you about Eska our 4 year old Siberian Husky. We have had her since she was about 11 months old. She knows basic commands come, sit, lay, down, up. The problem is when ever my kids open the front door and she’s right behind them, if they open it wide, then she bolts out the door. We are going to have to move if she get’s picked up 1 more time from the animal control on fort hood (she has only gotten picked up 1 time by the way), so we need to get her trained up to not run out the door or were going to have to get her another home and we don’t want to do that. I have left a voicemail at your office so I look forward to speaking with you guys soon!

I just want to say that we had a GS that was 18 months old and she actually broke my nails and pulled me down when I tried to walk her. She too would bolt out the door and chase everything in site….she now is TOTALLY off leash and it is heaven. Thanks Mike and Robin for a job well done. Now my Rotti Zoey is in defensive training and I am looking forward to that as well. The best part is they won’t take advantage of you. I had my GS evaluated for the defensive training…and they just did not see it happening. Honest and trustworthy the whole bunch of them. Thanks so so much…

  12. Janet says:

I am interested in off leash training. When that is done, do you offer any type of protection training?

  13. mikewheeler says:

Janet, absolutely and thank you for the comments. We evaluate the personality of your dog to determine if a good fit for personal protection. We would love to set up a time to meet you and go over all the options. Please call us at 254-541-3343 or CentralTexas@SitMeansSit.com
