“Paddington is a very distracted, young pup and still is. But he is responding well to training. The group classes have helped so much with both animal and trainer confidence. I’m learning as much as Paddington.”

“We had no clue how to train our dog. We had a great experience at Sit Means Sit. Dog learns fast with positive reinforcement techniques. She is the life of the party because she is so well behaved. People enjoy being around well behaved dogs”

“Enjoyed both one on one training sessions and feel Zena and I got a lot out of it. I continue to work with her daily at home but haven’t yet made it to a group class. Wish you had a class closer to Hamilton! I do intend to bring her to some classes-hopefully pretty soon!”

“My husband and I have a one and a half year Lab mix who has lots of energy and is skittish. We tried training her on our own and when I became pregnant I decided it was time to get help. My husband is in the Army and taking care of the dog alone is a full time job… soon there would be an infant and a dog to care for.

I am more than pleased with my experience. Granted, I needed the training much more than my dog and I am still a work in progress. But after only two sessions, my dog is already much easier to handle. She still needs to burn energy like before but now I walk her instead of her walking me! She also sits and lay down on command….we are still working on her staying there until told otherwise.”

“Our puppy Gus could be stubborn to say the least, and because he will be a big dog, we needed help in all areas of training. We needed Gus to listen. When Gus came home he was a better member of our family. He listened to us which made it easier for the family to train. Sit Means Sit has brought a lot of Joy to our family. Everyone was helpful and supportive. Thanks to all at Sit Means Sit!”

“My daughter’s dog was a behavior problem. He was such a loving dog but had no focus. While I was there I decided to start working with my young border collie, Mille Grace.

My dog has changed her role in the pack. She was formerly the lowest on the totem pole. Now she is beginning to have more self confidence. My daughter’s dog was with the trainer for a week.”

After the first lesson at SMS, I was amazed at how much my dog learned and responded to the training. We had our one on one session with Wes, and then went right into the group class that same night. Using the method that I was taught, I couldn’t believe how much Harley paid attention to me during our class. Granted still being a pup, we had our moments of stubbornness, but we got through them. My poor lab was so tired when we got home; she didn’t want to do anything except sleep. I have no doubts that two hours of training had a lot to do with that. But what is the saying? A tired do g is a good dog. Not sure who is going to take longer to get used to the collar, Harley or me. Looking forward to learning and growing together with my girl.
