Sit Means Sit Chicago may be looking for YOU! As a successful and rapidly growing dog training company serving Chicago and the Northern Suburbs we are always excited to meet prospective new team members!
Dog training experience is not necessary however a passion for dogs, teamwork, and a willingness to learn is! All accepted candidates must complete an extensive apprenticeship with the Sit Means Sit Dog Training system.
As a trainer for Sit Means Sit Chicago you will provide and participate in:
- Consultations for New Clients.
- Private In-home Lessons.
- Group Classes.
- Advanced Classes.
- Follow ups with Clients.
- Daily check in with Head Trainer.
- Training Meetings and Continued Education.
- Shows and Events.
- Facility Operations.
Candidates must be available evenings and weekends (these are our most requested times).
The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, the passion to teach and learn, loves dogs and is a team player.
Candidates Must Have:
- Phone with Text messaging and Video.
- Outgoing personality.
- Strong work ethic.
- Compassion.
- Empathy for people and animals.
- An eye for details.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions since we do distraction training and the best place to find distractions is outside.
- Creative marketing, PR, Video and Coaching skills are a plus!
