Bond With Your Pet Through Group Classes!

Does your dog know what dogs really do on fire hydrants?

Skippy does!

Group Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 pm and on Saturdays at 9:00 am.

Group classes are very important for your dog’s socialization. They also allow you to train your dog around severe distractions in a controlled learning environment. At Sit Means Sit, a dog’s focus will only be on his handler, on or off leash, and under control.
  • Situations will be set up around them (ie. toys, dogs, people) as the owner learns to keep their dog’s attention.
  • Your dog can play and be a dog, but will listen when you want them to listen!
  • Your dog will learn to greet other dogs and walk by strangers without getting aggressive or overexcited.

During these classes, owners bond with their pets and leave with happy, long term satisfaction. We would love for you to join us. Contact us to find out how to sign up at (614) 429-5021 (740) 756-4553 or terrycook@sitmeanssit.com.

Hello. We recently inherited my parents’ 7 yr old dog, Tiny. He is a shitzu-maltese mix whom has never been trained. He barks incessantly when anyone comes to the door but most importantly he marks. We now have to keep all of our bedroom doors shut and tie him up in the kitchen at night. He is not to be trusted. He will mark after a walk even. We have 2 young kids and don’t need the extra stress. Is this habit breakable? We never have caught him marking. He knows it is bad. We are fed up with him but I feel it is my place to care for him for my mom.

Hi Trisha, Thank you for contacting Sit Means Sit, and we can definitely help your situation! Your next step is to contact the office at 614.429.5021 or 740.756.4553 to schedule a free evaluation with one of our dog trainers. At the evaluation, you will be able to discuss training options, personalized based on what your needs and goals are. The cost of your training package is based on your individual needs and goals, so you will discuss training rates then. Hope to hear from you soon!
