Aqua Dog’s Terry Cook, and The Basement Doctor’s Ron Greenbaum, talk about Paws in the Pool on NBC 4′s Daytime Columbus with Gail Hogan!
Who: Paws in the Pool is a fund-raiser event, for every person and every dog. All dock diving clubs are invited to attend. Not a member of a dock diving club? Not a problem! It’s for everyone! Paws in the Pool is going to be EXCITING with fun for the entire family! Bring your KIDS! Bring your DOGS! Bring your HUSBANDS! Bring your WIVES! There will be something there for EVERYONE!
What: Paws in the Pool is a UKC Sanctioned Dock Diving Competition, hosted by Splash Dogs, combined with a festival & business fair. We are all working together as a community to help local area rescue groups, and promote local businesses. In addition to the Splash Dogs dock diving competition, there will be vendors, food, games, dance, gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do demonstrations, dog training demonstrations, a dog training beginners group class, non-dog-participants can jump in between the competition events, rescue groups will be out doing adoptions and holding various clinics, and much more!
Target of Lancaster is sponsoring and staffing the “Pet Pampering Parlor” which includes shampoo, nail trim with polish and other amenities to pamper your pet. Drop off your pet while you enjoy the expo – all for a small donation. Target has combined its annual “National Night Out” with Paws in the Pool. The “National Night Out” celebration encourages neighbors to get to know one another and involves fun games, free prizes and a DJ.
Target has invited the Lancaster Police Department and the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit. These two law enforcement agencies will share a D.A.R.E. message and do presentations throughout this event.

Sit Means Sit Dog Training is the largest and most successful U.S. based dog training company in the United States. Sit Means Sit is now both national and international, specializing in producing happy and confident dogs both off-leash and under total control.

Aqua Dogs was founded on two very simple premises. The first, is to provide a year round practice facility for all dock diving, better known as dock jumping, clubs. With three locations coming to Ohio by 2012, our indoor and outdoor facility will allow you to keep your dogs tuned up year round. Our second premise is to enhance the sport of dock diving, by providing training to those who are interested in the sport, but just don’t know how to get started. Once you have completed your training, and are now ready to compete, there are several competition clubs across the U.S. where you will be able to compete with your furry friend. Aqua Dogs encourages everyone to compete with multiple organizations, and does not promote one over the other. It is all about having fun with your dogs, and improving the quality of their lives, one dog at a time.

Splash Dogs is a national sporting event company. Splash Dogs hosts competitions where competitors earn points towards national and world championships. They will be holding a dock diving competition during the Paws in the Pool event. Register to compete soon at www.splashdogs.com.
