Lianne’s Dogs Wear Cycle Dog!
Lianne Hassen is co-owner of the ‘Sit Means Sit‘ Dog Training Corporate Office, the President and Founder of Las Vegas DockDogs as well as one of the founders of the Rude Dogs West Flyball Team. Originally from Canada, she has been living in Las Vegas for about 5 years. She has been training dogs and running a business since 1996. Lianne holds numerous titles in a variety of dogs sports including 1 National Championship and 1 World Championship title on 2 of her dogs. She has developed an interest in animal acting after having numerous dogs used in films, commercials and live performances. Lianne has a popular YouTube channel where she posts regular videos about dog training and dog sports!
“I really enjoy dog sports where the dogs can have fun and show off their desire and athleticism! It is also a challenge preparing for the trial, learning the rules, preparing yourself and your dog and getting out there in front of everyone and performing.” Lianne has developed a fun exercise regime to keep her dogs happy and healthy. “Keeping them healthy is the first part of having a great performer. I love having them with me everyday, they make life so much more fun!”
Lianne spends the majority of her days working and running Sit Means Sit Dog Training, both the local Las Vegas portion as well as the Franchise side of the company. Lianne and many Sit Means Sit trainers have been featured on Animal Planet, The Outdoor Channel, ESPN, America Now as well as many local news channels across the USA and Canada.
Lianne travels to various Flyball, DockDogs and AKC Trials each month in hopes to earn additional legs and titles in all sports with her 3 dogs. Check out her upcoming events page to see where they’ll be next!
