Client Testimonial – Massachusetts Dog Obedience Training

Joanne and Harry

Being a Mom and a teacher and now a puppy owner, I know that a dog needs to be trained just as children need to know their limits.  But…I didn’t know where to begin since I had never owned a dog.  Then I called Sit Means Sit Dog Training.  I knew just by watching Dave, the trainer we worked with, this was the answer to my prayers.  Harry, my 7 month old Shepherd/Chow mix, was suddenly doing something he had not done in the 3 months we had him…he was listening.  Dave was calm, patient and kind to Harry.  After Harry’s 1st hour long session he knew and understood “come”, “sit”, “quiet”, “place” and “out”.  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G  That night was the first in 3 months we had dinner while our 4-legged buddy was resting contently on his “place”.  At the end of our second session Harry was walking next to me down the street without a leash!!  I know this type of training requires consistency on my part and that is exactly what I plan on doing because I like what is happening.

If you are looking to train your canine friend of any age, I highly recommend Sit Means Sit because it works.

Ryan with Gaea and Dayzee

The Sit Means Sit program enabled me to take my two dogs Gaea and Dayzee on mountain hikes without worrying about them chasing wildlife. It’s great to hike with my dogs and not worry about spooking the wildlife, thank you!
