Matt began as a Sit Means Sit client in April of 2009, joined the Sit Means Sit team in November of 2009, and came on full time in May of 2010. He attended the Sit Means Sit regional conference in 2010. Matt has a passion for working with Pit Bulls, as he owns a Pit Bull, Nala and a Pit Bull mix, Leo. Leo and Nala are walking testimonials of just how good Pit Bulls can be.
We are frequently told by clients how much they love Matt. It is not uncommon for clients to request Matt for their lessons once they have met and worked with him.
Client comments about Matt:
“Matt was our in-home trainer and I am 100% satisfied with every single training visit we had with him. Matt was very professional. He was very stern and repetitive on the commands that he informed us to use on Cooper, although he could not have presented them in a better way!
Cooper has come a long way and has responded very well to every command Matt has taught both Cooper and us. Cooper is a Viszla and is FULL of energy, he was only 8 months old when beginning the training classes. After only 2 training classes cooper has been off leash with only a collar in public, on walks, etc.”

“Matt did a great job and is a natural in training dogs and us humans. He made us feel very comfortable and was very clear in his instructions.”
- Rob, Berkley
“Matt is wonderful! Not only is he extremely personable but he was very helpful in attaining the goals that we set out to achieve with our two dogs. It was nice to have him come to our home as well as his familiarity with our types of dogs. He was a huge help!”
