Third Avenue Village’s Pet Fest and Doggy Dash 2009 will be a fun-filled event for pets and pet lovers. The event will feature a two-mile Doggy Dash, entertainment, pet-related activities, pet adoptions and more. Doggy Dash Run/Walk begins at 9am.
Enter your pet in the Cutest, Ugliest, Biggest, Smallest, Best Costume, Pet Owner Look-A-Like, and/or Best Trick contests.
Proceeds benefit H.E.A.R.T. of CVACF, a nonprofit organization that supports the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility (CVACF) veterinary medical, adoption, and community education programs. H.E.A.R.T. also promotes spay and neuter programs in the communities served by the CVACF.
San Diego South Bay Sit Means Sit will be at the event doing dog obedience demonstrations. I will also have some of the dogs from CVACF that I have been working with that are available for adoption! If you, or someone you know is looking for a dog to adopt, come and see us at Pet Fest!

Hi
I have a service dog. I have had him for six years. He is now not responding to me as much as he did when I first got him. I am older now and I need him to respond to me more now. He knows his commands but responds very slowly. I am so afraid to let him off the leash because he runs off. When I walk with him he pulls me.
Is there any way he can be retrained. I saw how your dogs do and I was very impressed. I really would like my dog to be like yours.
Let me knowwhat I can do.
Thank you
Diana
