ROLEX Three Day Event 'Sit Means Sit' Fred & Lianne Hassen, Ashton Fitz-Gerald, Luciano Aguilar and many more 'Sit Means Sit' professional trainers will be demonstrating their talented dogs at one of America's premier equine sporting events, the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event. The Kentucky Three-Day is acknowledged as the signature event at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, beginning with the 1978 World Three-Day Event Championships. This Event will feature competitors vying for a berth on 2008 Olympic Eventing Teams, a special NBC Television broadcast, a live NBC Sports webcast, a world class Trade Fair and 100,000 in attendance over the four days of the competition.
The Horse Park will be the site of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010 and Eventing is on of the eight equestrian disciplines of the World Games, Rolex Kentucky provides an opportunity for those who will attend those Games to see the same type of competition before 2010, learn the area and the level of sport to come. Luciano Aguilar, Juan Aguilar and Miguel Vendrell will be presenting at Walk for the Underdog Walk for the Underdog is the biggest dog pack and dog party on earth! The Walk starts at the La Brea Tar Pits, 5801 Wilshire Blvd. LA, 90036. Registration is at 9:30am, the walk will begin at 11am and lasts about an hour (approximately 2 miles). Dog adoptions and other entertaining events will be ongoing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During the walk, about 500 "top dogs" from loving homes parade through the streets of Los Angeles with their humans, to raise money for the "underdogs," who await rescue. Walk for the Underdog is a sight to behold!! Of course, in addition to it being a dog pack extraordinaire, it's a day of non-stop fun:
