Remember, potatoes contain solanine which is super toxic to dogs so make sure that you bake them before serving. We recommend that you bake them for 30 minutes at 450 degrees with no seasonings. If you do want to make it a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">little<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> flavored, add a little salt. Avoid over-salting, as it dehydrates them.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Canned Pumpkin<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plain canned pumpkin is a great high-fiber food that can help regulate your dog\u2019s digestion and quell their diarrhea. Serving it to them by the spoonful is best, but don\u2019t over-serve. Overserving can make them constipated, as too much fiber can be bad. Also, make sure you only serve <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">plain, unsweetened<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">canned pumpkin, <\/span><b>NOT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pumpkin pie filling. The filling has artificial sweeteners that can be toxic to your dog. Plain pumpkin puree can be found in the canned veggie aisle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Prescription Dog Food<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If there is a specific health issue you\u2019d like to tackle, consult your vet for recommendations on prescription dog foods. Many brands offer health lines built specifically for gastrointestinal issues, so doing your research could point you in a great direction.
