Potatoes<\/b><\/h2>\n

If your dog is suffering more from diarrhea, then try serving them potatoes. Remember, potatoes contain solanine which is super toxic to dogs so make sure that you bake them before serving. We recommend that you bake them for 30 minutes at 450 degrees with no seasonings. If you do want to make it a <\/span>little<\/span><\/i> flavored, add a little salt. Avoid over-salting, as it dehydrates them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Canned Pumpkin<\/b><\/h2>\n

Plain canned pumpkin is a great high-fiber food that can help regulate your dog\u2019s digestion and quell their diarrhea. Serving it to them by the spoonful is best, but don\u2019t over-serve. Overserving can make them constipated, as too much fiber can be bad. Also, make sure you only serve <\/span>plain, unsweetened<\/span> canned pumpkin, <\/span>NOT<\/b> pumpkin pie filling. The filling has artificial sweeteners that can be toxic to your dog. Plain pumpkin puree can be found in the canned veggie aisle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prescription Dog Food<\/b><\/h2>\n
