Board and Train at Sit Means Sit Longmont

Board & Train

Our full immersion Board & Train program is designed to give your pup the extra care they need to put them on a consistent path to good behavior. We strive to reach your individualized training goals as well as to give your pup the essential obedience foundation so they can be their best self. Your pal has the chance to work one-on-one with our talented trainers everyday to learn obedience, socialization, and confidence. Their stay will be followed up with a private training lesson to get you and your furry-friend on the same page with your training. That lesson provides you with the tools and knowledge to confidently continue working with your dog and developing their skills. Initial training is followed up with a 6 month membership to our Group Training Classes.

Why Choose Our Board & Train Program?

  • You have a pooch that needs some serious training, but your schedule is too restricting to allow you to take them back and forth to multiple classes.
  • You’ve found training your dog has been too challenging to accomplish on your own or hasn’t worked in the past.

Ultimate Training Program at Sit Means Sit Longmont

Day Train Program

Our Day Train program is composed of one full-day sessions for three consecutive weeks. Once you drop your dog off the morning of your session, we hit the ground running. Our trainers work with your pup throughout the day to ensure we’re solidifying all your pooch’s new obedience skills. At the end of the day when you come to pick up, we have a review lesson with you to catch you up to speed on everything your pup’s learned. Throughout the process you’ll be paired with each of our trainers to give you and your pup the strongest training possible. The results will be a happy, confident, and well-behaved companion.

Benefits of Choosing our Day Train Program:

  • Consistency is key! Keeping our training consistent ensures your dog will learn quickly and be ready to start attending interactive group classes in no time.
  • Since the sessions are 1-on-1, your pup will be receiving training specifically tailored to any issues we observe as well as any you would like them to work on.

My experience with Sit Means Sit Dog Training  began when I moved to Colorado with an aggressive American Bulldog. These days I have a Belgian Malinois, Neo, who competes in dock- diving and flyball and a 2 year old goofy Boxer named Bruiser.

Time marches on; this year marks our 11th anniversary in the Longmont-Firestone-Frederick area. Our business has gone through a few location changes, but I am very happy to say that our location at 4040 Kodiak Court in Frederick should be our final move. We are now located in  a 13,000 sq foot building that includes a 6,000 sq ft training room, a grooming room, large kennel room and turfed outdoor play yards. During the summer we have a 45′ outdoor dock diving pool where you can teach your dog to swim or get involved with the exciting sport of dock diving!

Our Cruisin’ K-9s Flyball team competes in local flyball competitions and is a face-paced sport for the ball crazy dogs. The Canine Caring Angels Therapy Dogs Team is back in action! Our K-9 angels  are back out bringing love and comfort to anyone who needs it.

All of this can take place after making your dog the best he or she can be with basic to advanced obedience training. We train dogs of any age, from puppies to seniors. Call us to set up a free consultation, and join the world of “happy, confident, off-leash dogs”.

My journey with Sit Means Sit began as a client in 2018. The results I achieved with my dogs exceeded my expectations.

I joined the Sit Means Sit team as a kennel tech and worked my way through the trainers program held by Fred Hassen the CEO/Founder of Sit Means Sit.

I enjoy working with dogs and their owners to achieve goals from basic obedience to managing an aggressive dog.

Outside of work I’m busy with my three dogs Juno, Zoey and Kona. Juno and Zoey compete in dock diving. They both made it to the Worlds Competition in 2021! Kona is on our therapy dog team, she loves to visit retirement homes and hospitals!

My goals are to continue working hard with Sandy Brady (the owner) on building a clean, safe and fun environment for you and your dog!

The reason I decided to work with Sit Means Sit was I needed some expert training to help with Artemis the Rottweiler. When I got Artemis she was about a year old. She was leash-aggressive and dog-aggressive. I trained Dug the Australian shepherd myself; he is well-behaved and gets along with everyone, so having Artemis…

Amazing, incredible, headed in the right direction, are all words I now use for our Rottweiler, Mickey Mouse! When I first met Sandy (Divine intervention definitely brought her to us) I was nervous to even work our dog. I now look forward to classes and the challenge of truly getting to know my dog and…

This place is amazing! I had a few friends recommend it, and then we met Conner and Sandy at an Erie festival in person. They were incredibly informative there as well as at the free in-home consultation. Our 4 month old Berner puppy started obeying even after her first session. Our goal is to have…

I have really enjoyed training with Sandy. My dog can be dog aggressive but after a few private class he was able to join group classes. The group classes are spectacular! It allows me to work my dog in real life situations and in a safe environment. She clearly lets everyone know that my dog…
