Favorite Toy:<\/strong> Trudy’s favorite toy is the one that she is currently playing with.\u00a0 Outside she loves to retrieve “tough ball” tennis balls, or an “Air Dog” toy.\u00a0 Indoors she plays with a rubber Kong Bone or a pink “Kong” toy.<\/p>\n

Favorite Treat:<\/strong>Trudy uses her food mainly for treats, and is on grain free, venison dog food.<\/p>\n

Favorite Walk: <\/strong>Trudy loves walking anywhere.\u00a0 She gets out at least twice a day, early in the morning and after Mom and Dad get home from work.\u00a0 Because she “has been” reactive in the past to other people and dogs, she hasn’t been out too much away from home, but she’s looking forward to that changing.<\/p>\n

Best Trick: <\/strong>Trudy does all the basics such as Sit, Stay, Come, etc.\u00a0 Her favorite is “Dance” where she gets up on her hind legs and dances with Dad.<\/p>\n

Arrival Story: <\/strong>“Trudy’s Mom and Dad got her from Austin Pet’s Alive (APA), a local rescue operation.\u00a0 Her story goes much earlier than that.\u00a0 Abandoned (or even “dumped”) at a very early age, Trudy was found by an animal lover, who brought her to the local shelter and then called APA.\u00a0 She was given 5 hours to live before APA rescued her.\u00a0 She had a severe case of non-contagious mange, and was put in the care of a foster Mom.\u00a0 Mom and Dad met her at an APA event and instantly fell in love.\u00a0 They introduced her to her brother Bear, and then brought her home and made her a loving part of their family!<\/p>\n

Why Training \/ Sit Means Sit:<\/strong> Trudy’s quite an active little girl, to the point that she get’s very excited around other people, animals, and distractions in general.\u00a0 She is very smart, but once wound up she forgets her manners.\u00a0 After trying more traditional classes with mixed results, we hope Sit Means Sit will allow Trudy to maintain her sense of composure, and be the good Pit Bull Ambassador that we know she can be.<\/p>\n

Motto:<\/strong> Trudy is smart, loving, high energy, but I suppose to narrow it down we would go with “Loving”.\u00a0 She is a treat to be around and a good guardian of Mom and Dad.\u00a0 She is happiest when with her “people” and shows it as much as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
