So, why not make your pooch some pumpkin dog treats in celebration of the fall season!<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU NEED<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Rolling pin<\/li>\n<li>Dog bone cookie cutter<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup of apple sauce <em>(no sugar added)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>1 cup of pumpkin puree\u00a0<em>(no sugar added and of pumpkins, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">NOT<\/span> pumpkin pie filling)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>3 &amp; 1\/2 cups of flour\u00a0<em>(can substitute for wheat, oat, or rice flour of equal parts. If using rice flour, you may need to add moisture with a tablespoon of water once it soaks up the egg)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>DIRECTIONS<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.<\/li>\n<li>Mix your egg, applesauce, and pumpkin puree in a mixing bowl<\/li>\n<li>Fold in the flour until it&#8217;s all mixed<\/li>\n<li>Lightly dust your countertop or surface with flour and knead the dough to make it uniform<\/li>\n<li>Lightly flour the rolling pin and proceed to roll the dough out into approximately 1\/8 of an inch thick<\/li>\n<li>Use a cookie cutter to cut treats out of dough and place on a baking sheet<\/li>\n<li>Bake for approximately 18 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Wait to cool before serving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And just like that, you&#8217;ve made Fido some delicious pumpkin treats that they&#8217;ll be begging for more of.
