Sit Means Sit Instructor Bob Burnell and his dog Kody were invited to lecture at the Boynton Beach High School. The students were part of an advanced placement class that were learning about human psychology. Bob discussed with them the similarities as well as differences between human and animal psychology. The basics of classical and operant conditioning were discussed as well as the differences between varying reinforcers that are used to train animals. A presentation was then given by our own Sit Means Sit dog, Kody. Theory is great and is the foundation of what we do, but nothing beats the final results that are possible.
