Matt Luxton

Matt Luxton

Meet our head trainer, Matt Luxton. After a career in education, Matt decided to pursue something that truly brought him joy: dog training! Matt opened his Sit Means Sit franchise after seeing the impact it had on his own dog. Prior to being rescued, Matt’s first dog had lived in an abusive home.

After going through the training program, he saw the major improvement in confidence and attitude in his dog. Matt became a certified dog trainer through Sit Means Sit, and now finds joy every day in helping dogs and their owners.

Matt has three dogs of his own, a Belgian Malinois, Yellow Lab, and a Miniature Schnauzer . The Belgian is always ready to play or go to work with him. The Lab is a fetching machine that would happily chase a ball all day. The Mini is full of energy.
