Whether you\u2019re a local discovering new breweries in town or just visiting, there are several breweries where you can enjoy a cold one with your well-behaved pooch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a guide to some of the best dog-friendly breweries in Salt Lake City.<\/span><\/p>\n

T.F. Brewing<\/b><\/h2>\n

Templin Family Brewing (<\/span>T.F. Brewing<\/span><\/a>, for short) is a favorite among locals. It\u2019s known for popular German-style beers and has welcomed dogs since the doors opened in 2018. Its outdoor space is a large, enclosed patio with bench tables, fire pits, and corn hole. Though T.F. Brewing doesn\u2019t offer food, it does have a food truck on site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Squatters Pub Brewery<\/b><\/h2>\n

When you ask a local for a good place to have a beer, they\u2019ll tell you <\/span>Squatters<\/span><\/a>. Making the list of dog-friendly breweries Salt Lake City has to offer, Squatters is nestled in the heart of downtown and has been around since 1989. It\u2019s a go-to destination for the local beer-loving community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They have a full-service restaurant that makes sure you\u2019ll eat well and drink well. Dog lovers to the core, Squatters hosts their own annual Chasing Tail run downtown.<\/span><\/p>\n

Red Rock Brewing<\/b><\/h2>\n

A Salt Lake City landmark and a veteran of local brewing, <\/span>Red Rock Brewing<\/span><\/a> has been producing craft beer for over 25 years. If you want to really get a feel for the local beer, Red Rock is a must.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our advice? Order something to eat because their food is mouthwatering. They offer an upscale twist on traditional pub food, and there\u2019s truly something for everyone, as they serve pasta, pizza, salads, and various entrees. Red Rock Brewing has a few locations in the area, but the dog-friendly ones are Murray and Park City.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shades Brewing<\/b><\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re looking for something downtown, we\u2019ve got you. Smack dab in the heart of South Salt Lake is one of the best dog-friendly breweries in Salt Lake City, <\/span>Shades Brewing Tap Room<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

They call themselves \u201cunorthodox\u201d since they\u2019re the only ones using unique ingredients in the IPA and Belgian-style beers. You can relax in the fully enclosed, shaded patio designed with faux turf<\/span>\u2014<\/span>a great hangout spot for you and your pup (especially on a hot day). While they don\u2019t offer food, you can bring something with you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fisher Brewing<\/b><\/h2>\n

Hands down one of the best dog-friendly breweries in Salt Lake City (and we\u2019re not being biased here), <\/span>Fisher Brewing<\/span><\/a> has developed a serious fan base of beer lovers. Their taps are always rotating, so you can try a new beer every time you walk in.<\/span><\/p>\n

The brewery is all about community, making sure everyone is welcome\u2014including dogs. They have a dog-friendly patio that\u2019s shaded in the summer and heated during the winter, so you can bring your pup year-round. With most of the seating being picnic tables, you\u2019ll want to make sure your pup is well-behaved <\/span>on leash<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
