Minneapolis, Minnesota Dog Training
We spend our time teaching what you want to learn in training. No more 6 to 8 week courses on how to train your dog. We can do that in as little as 2 weeks with you! Don’t believe us? Here are some of the things people are saying about us.
- I couldn’t believe what Ryan did with Reuben in just 10 minutes! He went from pulling every which way on the leash to watching us, letting us lead and wasn’t pulling.
- We feel that there is not anyone else that could have done what Ryan did.
- I thought I’d never be able to say I taught her (with Ryan’s Sit Means Sit help) all she knows & continues to learn. And Bella, well she still has a high spirit. It’s just put to use in a more positive way!
Our mission is to provide training programs that result in a happy, confident and satisfied owner, as well as a happy, confident, and obedient dog. After all, the first step in enjoying a long, rewarding relationship with your dog is effective training that lasts a lifetime. To do this, we’ve created programs that not only train your dog quickly but also teach you how to control your dog at all times, even in severe distractions; the REAL world!
We always offer a FREE demonstration and consultation for you and your dog before any decisions are made for training. Please take a look at our video and testimonial sections to get a great idea of what Sit Means Sit can do for you. Then give our office a call and we’ll look forward to meeting you!
We have a new dog training video every single day!

I would like to see a video of your sitmeanssit technique. I am
picking up my new lab pup at the end of April
We have a 3 yr old dachshund that’s very anxious, and protective/aggressive of me and his space. We also have a rescued shelter pit/boxer mix with anxiety, trust issues, and dog aggression. Both have very iffy and rudimentary manners/basic training. Any thoughts for us?
Thanks!
The best way to deal with anxiety or any other behavioral issue with dogs is to start some sort of training with the dog. Training builds trust and helps the bond between you and your dogs. We offer free demonstrations where we discuss your options and give you our recommendation for training.
The great thing about our videos is once you have been through our training program, you will be able to understand what the trainer is doing in the video. It is a lot easier to understand our training methods by learning in person. Not every dog is the same and training techniques differ dog to dog.
I have a german shepherd that I am using for SAR, she has not been worked with for 4 months. I would like her to have EXCELLENT OB skills. How many times a week do you have classes for 2 weeks. Do we bring the dogs with? Also do you do a one on one free demo with the dog and trainer?? Very interested.
Thanks Denice
We always offer free demos! Yes bring the dogs with when you schedule your demo.
I have a wild, out of control 3 year old German Shorthair… is there still time to train? (or should I say untrain bad habbits)
Thanks!
