Sit Means Sit Athens deserves 5 stars, two thumbs up and four paws up! They are truly the best dog care service. My dog Winston has become so obedient, confident and self aware thanks to Patrick and Cybil! Great service all around I could not be happier!!!

After doing months of researching and debating we ran across Sit Means Sit Athens. Upon our first meeting, we knew that they were the only people we trust to train our dogs. We are extremely happy with the training that Cybill and Patrick did with our two dogs. We have an extremely anxious large lab mix dog and a Great Dane that thinks she’s a lap dog. They helped us to work with both resource guarding and confidence for our dogs. They will definitely be in our contacts with any dogs we get going forward and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trainer.

We are very happy with the training we received from Sit Means Sit of Athens. Our Golden Retriever Ellie is very much a wild one year old and was developing some really unacceptable behavior. She will now respond to a recall, stays with us in the yard even off leash and we are more easily able to control her impulse to jump on people. We are continuing to work with her using the techniques we were taught in our training. This training has really helped especially in situations where there are a lot of distractions. As part of the training there is opportunity for follow up assistance on specific behavior issues. Another great benefit is participating in their group dog walks. This was such a great opportunity to see how we were doing with Ellie’s training by socializing her with other dogs and people, at the same time receiving specific feedback to continue improving her behavior.

Patrick and Cybil are amazing!! Our dog struggled with basic commands, the struggle was real! We are so thankful for for the guidance and training they provided!

The training and post training provided by Cybill and Patrick come second to none. My dog was able to receive the structure and leadership he needed to thrive. I finally have the tools and training to communicate with my dog effectively.

The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and are customer-oriented. They took time to get to know our family and our needs. We required help after we adopted our puppy, and we are much better off thanks to their hard work, their guidance and their patience. I highly recommend them.

Cybill and Patrick have been great to work with. We did the day and train program and after just the first session we saw progress. We would have never been able to walk our dog on a loose leash without the tools they shared with us. We could also tell they actually cared about our lil Tommy’s progress, which is always comforting. We’re excited to continue seeing the results of their work with us and Tommy. We tried dog training prior to meeting with Patrick and Cybill. Sit Means Sit is one of the best decisions we could’ve made for our little pup. She is small, but fierce. Biting ankles, not listening, basically running the show. We wanted the relationship and respect to be mutual and needed help changing the course, quickly. The knowledge and professionalism from Cybill and Patrick was amazing. They care and are beyond great at what they do.

Cybil and Patrick are lifesavers! Our very energetic puppy and our 5 year old dog were not adjusting well to each other. Our dog was very possessive over our house and toys to the point that she was aggressive toward the puppy. And as our puppy got older, her behavior was unmanageable for us. Sit Means Sit gave us an hour long consultation with both dogs. I was a little skeptical of e-collar training at first and called Cybil with probably 100 questions about it. She answered each question and gave me much more confidence about it. Our older dog did 4 day train sessions and our puppy did a 2 week bootcamp at their home training center. Now our dogs play together everyday, are quickly becoming best friends, and are SO much better behaved! Thank you so much Sit Means Sit!

The Sit Means Sit program enabled me to take my two dogs Gaea and Dayzee on mountain hikes without worrying about them chasing wildlife. It’s great to hike with my dogs and not worry about spooking the wildlife, thank you!
