Growing up, I always had a passion for dogs: from watching the dog shows on TV, admiring how the dogs in agility competitions are flying around courses with their handlers, and taking a vested interest in learning about the different dog breeds and their original functions.

After working in nearly all the pet care industries, I really fell in love with dog behavior and training when my first dog, Boots, came into the picture. From starting as a fear reactive dog to my right-hand companion that competes in a multitude of different dog sports, training and working with Sit Means Sit opened a door I never thought possible. The journey continues with my rough collie, Vega, who approaches the world with excitement and joy.
I worked for Sit Means Sit in Northern Colorado for nearly 5 years before moving to Oklahoma and reopening a location in the Central Oklahoma region in 2026.
