Ballenger Creek Dog Park
This incredible park in Frederick is 4 acres total and includes athletic fields, plenty of play equipment, and even picnic areas with grills. Plus, there are two separate dog areas for dogs of all breeds and sizes to enjoy. You can spend your time relaxing on a bench and watching your dog play or exploring the park’s many walkways and trails. Bring the whole family to enjoy the park’s many amenities!
Urbana District Dog Park
Located on Urbana Pike in Frederick, this gem of a park will entertain your dog for hours. They can explore the all-dog area while you walk through the park or hang out on one of the benches. You may also want to check out the athletic fields and 9/11 veterans memorial at the park. Finally, the park includes a dog waste station, so cleaning up after your pooch is easier than ever. Check it out while the sun is shining!
Ridge Road Regreational Park
This gorgeous park in Germantown is known for its half-acre dog exercise area and dedication to pups living in and around the community. A six-foot chain-link fence surrounds the dog park, so you won’t have to worry about any unwelcome visitors. Your dog will love socializing with other pups, and you may even meet some friendly fellow pet parents while you’re at it! Check it out on Frederick Road.
Black Hill Regional Park
After the success of Ridge Road Recreational Park in Germantown, Black Hill Regional Park was founded just down the street! You’ll appreciate the laid-back, shaded environment, where your dog can play freely with other pups. The area is about a half acre in size and is fenced-in for your doggo’s safety. Plus, you can rent boats, fish, and picnic at this beautiful park. You won’t want to miss out! Be sure to swing by this perfect spot on Lake Ridge Road.
