Puppy Training

The first 16 weeks of a dog’s life are crucial. The development that happens at that time is the most potent and the most difficult to undue later in life. That’s why getting your puppies who are 8-16 weeks into our Puppy Management Program is so important. You want to have dog who is confident, socially adept, and well-behaved, while, at the same time, avoiding negative behaviors and bad habits.

Achieving this kind of pet is done through our combination of private lessons and small-group classes, which is our Puppy Training program. Some topics we cover include basic obedience, potty training, bite prevention, chewing prevention, and basic vocal commands such as “sit,” “down,” and “heel.”

Set you and your pup up for a lifetime of friendship by calling in today for your free evaluation.

Advanced & Specialty Classes

As mentioned above, basic obedience is just the beginning of our reach. We offer advanced and specialty classes to our clients who have had pets graduate private lessons or one of our immersion programs. All of these classes are highly popular. Some of them include:

  • Advanced Off-Leash Obedience Class: Level up your daily walks by fine-tuning their off-leash and loose-leash skills in public locations such as downtown, at the beach, or in shops.
  • Dog Tricks 101 & 201: These classes are an incredibly fun way to connect with your furry friend by learning unique and impressive tricks such as high five, walking up the stairs in reverse, or the fire hydrant pose.
  • Beach Etiquette Class: With the beach being a part of your dog’s daily life, beach etiquette is a must. Teach them all the right manners to make your ocean trips stress-free.
  • The Trained Retrieve: You dog can learn to bring you just about anything. Fro the newspaper to your slippers, a trained retrieve is a useful (and impressive!) tool to have in your box.
  • Directional skills at a Distance: Achieve a new level of trust when you’re able to send your dog to a place with remotes, sits and downs at incredible distances

Dog Owners Reviews

We love customers and their dogs. They love us.

Training that works!!!!

Ray M.

I’m a believer! We have a 7 month old golden retriever puppy. At three months of age he went through the Sit Means Sit puppy training. That was a big help. We had been in a very negative cycle with the pup. Our training just consisted of “No”! Scott Sanchez taught us how to train…

Susan C.

We highly recommend Sit Means Sit. Our 7 month old Labrador just finished the 10 day training with Scott and his staff and we are delighted with the results. Our high energy, strong willed Lab was jumping up on people, tackling the grand kids, running out the gate and “come” was a game of you…

Rona P.

So thankful for this transformation Scott! What an amazing difference in our Miss Moji. Hooray! You guys are PAWSOME!!
