Day Trains
Day Trains is not your generic daycare program! Instead, drop your pup off (or we can pick them up!) for a full day of dog obedience training with one of our expert trainers. We will teach basic manners, improve serious behavior issues, manage anxiety or reactivity, and create positive social experiences on off-campus trips to pet-friendly places around the community.
At pick-up, you will have a one-on-one session with your dog trainer to go over their new skills and how to continue to reinforce them at home. Day Train is a great program if you are looking for a worthwhile and productive process for quick dog training success. We teach your dog sit, stay, down, heel, and good leash manners to help transform your beast into the perfect family dog. The kind of dog that can go shopping and be the best-behaved dog at your favorite pet-friendly boutique!
Board & Train
Board & Train is our most immersive program for training dogs! This program is a great fit if you have a vacation planned or your dog has troublesome issues that need extra training help. Your dog will stay in our beautiful facility under the excellent care of our staff for 5 or 10 days while learning new commands, creating positive experiences to improve challenging behavioral issues, and going on socializing field trips out in the community.
At pick-up, we teach you how to effectively communicate with your pup so they continue to be obedient with confidence. Board & Train is the perfect training program for any dog no matter their behavior issues or training needs!
Private Lessons
Our Hybrid Private Lessons are perfect for pet owners who want to be involved with their dog’s training. These private lessons pair you with one of our dog trainers who will show you how to train your dog successfully. Your dog spends the day training with a trainer laying down an obedience foundation, then you get to take over!
This training process connects pets and their owner while building a deep bond based on trust and confidence. During your private sessions, you will gain the skills to master your dog’s training goals and learn advanced obedience. We give you the tools to continue encouraging your dog’s good behaviors at home and around town. This program is great for families with a new puppy or an adult dog with persisting pesky behaviors. We cannot wait to teach you the knowledge and training techniques to be in control of your dog’s training success!

Puppy Consultation
Bringing home your new puppy is so exciting. It is time for puppy smells, snuggles, and playtime! However, it can also be overwhelming. You have to think about vaccines, microchips, and getting them the perfect kibble. Plus, it is time to start socializing and training them so they can handle the world with confidence and obedience. Don’t worry. Sit Means Sit is there for dog owners and their bundle of puppy joy.
Puppies can join the Day Trains program at 16 weeks old, but until then, our Puppy Consultation will introduce you and your new best friend to the training process. One of our professional dog trainers will meet with you and your puppy in a private session and teach you how to train your puppy with treats, toys, and praise. This practice will build a connection based on trust and confidence and prepare your puppy for more advanced obedience. Through fun and positive training plus proper socialization, your puppy will learn the correct behavior early on, so you don’t have to deal with bad manners later. Hi, I am the owner at Sit Means Sit located in Murfreesboro. I moved here in 1996 from Long Island, NY. In 2001, I graduated from MTSU with a degree in criminal justice. Since I was 5, I have been a soccer player and competed at the college level. I am also an avid Crossfitter. I have an AMAZING daughter who shares her father’s love for animals.
After being in the corporate world since I graduated college, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue a career in canine instruction. After working with several different trainers and then attending a school for professional training of our furry friends, I made the decision to open a Sit Means Sit franchise. I have worked with and been around dogs all my life, anywhere from high obedience/protection dogs to your basic household pet.
The more I get involved with training and learning about dog behavior the more I realize I have an unmatched passion for training dogs. There is nothing more satisfying than having a dog that is well-behaved and well-mannered. This will create a happy family and a happy dog! I am honored to have this opportunity to bring a Sit Means Sit to Middle Tennessee!
Hey there, I handle sales at Sit Means Sit in Murfreesboro. I grew up on my family’s large farm in Pall Mall, TN. After graduating high school I moved here to attend MTSU. I got my degree in Horticulture and opened my first Garden Center in 2001 in Lascassas. I have three wonderful children who definitely keep me on my toes. I enjoy anything fitness, being with family, love to travel, plants are my jam, and dogs bring me much joy.
Since I was a child, I have always enjoyed talking to people and making people smile. Hence why I have always enjoyed selling plants. I became part of the Sit Means Sit family for the same reason. Making people and their four legged friends happy. Once I saw the relationship Sit Means Sit creates between owners and their dogs I knew I wanted to be a part of that process.
Being a part of Sit Means Sit has allowed me to meet so many amazing people and the opportunity to love on all the dogs, but most of all it has allowed me to be a part of building a wonderful client/dog relationship. Nothing beats going to work daily to wagging tails and smiles.

Originally from the Philippines, I earned a degree in Marketing and built a career in the corporate world, where I discovered my passion for serving people. However, when the pandemic hit, I found myself far from my family and decided to take a leap of faith, transitioning to remote work. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, not only do I get to help people, but I also get to make a difference in the lives of their four-legged companions.
