We are here to work with pet owners and to come up with training programs that will work well for them and are tailored to their dog’s specific training needs. We have professional trainers who are here to handle all training needs for a variety of behavioral issues, not only aggressive dog training. No matter the behavioral issue that you need help with, we can pair you up with an amazing trainer.

Professional Training Program to Meet Your Needs

In addition to handling aggressive behavior, our professional trainers can provide some of the best training programs for all of your needs. Some of the different skills that our dog trainers can work on include:

  • Handling a rescue dog
  • AKC CGC Certification training
  • Aggressive dog training
  • Basic obedience training
  • Advanced obedience training
  • Basic commands
  • Potty training
  • Excessive barking
  • Anxiety issues
  • Puppy training

Using positive reinforcement, dog owners can trust us to provide advanced obedience training that is effective and easy for their dog to understand. We offer both private and group classes, and use proven training methods that make classes a fun and educational experience.

Our Aggressive Dog Training Program

When you are dealing with aggressive behavior issues with your dog, such as aggression, fear-reactivity, or biting, then our aggressive dog training program may be right for you. Our professional dog trainers will be able to work with your dog through this program, focusing on basic commands and helping dog owners to work collaboratively with their dogs to get the best results.

All of our programs are unique and will focus on the exact behavioral concerns that your dog is displaying. An example of one of our programs includes:

Phase 1 – Introduction

On the first day, the goal is to help the dog become more comfortable with their trainer. Our dog trainers will work with your dog to help them relax and improve trust to help get ready for the next step.

Phase 2 – Basic Obedience Training

The second phase of this program is a great way to work on basic commands and obedience training. Our goal is to work on different commands that we can use with the dog as we slowly increase distractions that could trigger aggression later on. Depending on how your dog responds, we can move up to more advanced obedience training as well.

Phase 3 – Introducing Other Dogs

Now it is time to add in some off-leash training and different distractions. Our professional trainers will be able to gently raise the bar, using positive reinforcement each time that your dog listens to them. A dog trainer can run past the dog, or other dogs can be introduced at a distance to see what aggressive behavior will present. They can then further customize the training sessions based on your dog’s behavior and reactions in these scenarios.

Phase 4 – Positive Reinforcement Techniques & More Distractions

Taking cues from your dog and still working with basic commands and positive reinforcement will raise the stakes. Other dogs may be added in, dog owners could be asked to come running by, and more. The goal is to prevent things like excessive barking and other aggressive behavior. Depending on your dog’s behavior, we can continue to raise the distractions or take them down accordingly. We went to present them with situations they will encounter at home or out in public around other people and dogs. Our goal is to change the way they respond by giving them the necessary training tools required to help them successfully navigate these triggering situations.

Phase 5 – Graduation

As this program progresses, we will continue testing the dog’s ability to behave, even when the collar is removed. The number of training sessions to get to this phase can depend on your dog and how severe the behavioral issues are.

Whether you have a new puppy or a dog displaying behavioral issues, we’re here to help. We understand that behavior issues are unique to each dog, and thus, we cater our training programs accordingly. Our goal is to teach both the dog and their owner (or family) and to help form lifelong bonds that will make both the dog and their human happy and excited to take on the world together. Please feel free to contact us for further details, any questions, or to schedule a free consultation. Our team is excited to learn more about your dog, and we’re ready to get started!
