Day Train
The goal is to make our dog training services accessible to everyone, even the busiest family or working professional. The Day Train program enrolls your dog into immersive training sessions without committing to an overnight board & train. However, you can expect the same results! You drop your dog off for a weekly obedience training lesson with one of our expert dog trainers. They will learn basic obedience, advanced skills, and overcoming behavioral challenges.
At pick-up, you can join group classes to learn what we taught your dog that day and get the tools to continue reinforcing these behaviors at home.
Benefits of Day Training
- Your dog will receive professional-level obedience training without spending the night at a board and train.
- We do the hard work by building a foundation based on basic obedience so you don’t interrupt your daily flow.
- You will have access to advanced training sessions in our Group Classes.
We cannot wait to discuss our Day Train program and help you start your dog training journey! Schedule a free evaluation and Contact us today!

Private Lessons
We love it when owners want to be more involved in the training process! Private Lessons offers one-on-one training sessions with a professional dog trainer who curates the perfect training plan for your dog and their needs. Whether it’s basic obedience, aggression, problem barking, poor leash manners, or potty training, an amazing trainer will be there every step!
Private Lessons are also the perfect place to start for puppy training. You and your new puppy will have private sessions where a trainer will show you how to use positive reinforcement to train basic manners and commands. It’s important to encourage confidence and trust early on so your puppy doesn’t grow into a disobedient or fearful dog. Private Lessons also prepare your puppy to join our Day Train Program when they are old enough!
Our knowledgeable trainers prepare you with the tools to maintain your dog’s good behavior throughout their life. Take your pup out on the boat and know they will be the best-behaved dog on the lake!
Why choose Private Lessons?
- Be directly responsible for your dog’s training success
- We offer a flexible schedule

Group classes are held with other dogs and their owners, giving you the chance to fine-tune training skills and socialize your dogs around new distractions.
Advantages of Group Dog Training
- Your dog will generalize their commands and manners in a distracting environment.
- Owners get the chance to learn new training tools.
- Practice under safe and fun conditions lead by your trainer.

Dog Owners Reviews
We love customers and their dogs. They love us.
We’re very happy with the results so far. He’s a changed dog and we are changed owners enjoying our dog so much more.
Marley learns so much here. Every time I have a question or new thing that I would like him to learn all the staff is right there with all the information that you would need. From basic obedience to walking on a treadmill. Recommend them to anyone that is looking to get a new dog…
I adopted my foster and she was pretty dog reactive. I found sit means sit and Pat and Ryan did an amazing job with Mella and I had my hesitations but I can say after 3 months of group class I can now walk Mella past other dogs barking and all she does is cry…
We’ve seen such a change in our rescue dog since we first came to Sit Means Sit in Spring Lake Park. He used to be skittish and scared of strange things (like wood floors and water bowls). We just took him on a big adventure out west for the second year in a row, and…
