Dog Training Classes
Any Dog Any Age Any Problem

Day Training “Fast and the Furriest”
We know that life gets crazy sometimes, and getting involved with your dog’s training isn’t always near the top of the priority list. That’s why we’ve created the Day Training program, also known as the “Fast and the Furriest” program. Because you can drop your dog off in the morning and pick them up in the evening after work, even the busiest schedules can accommodate this program.
The setup allows you to pick one day a week to drop your dog off for a full day of training that is immersive and efficient. They are with us for 6-8 hours of engaging fun that will have them transformed by the end of just three weeks. They will learn things like loose leash (or zero leash!) walking, recall, and how to relax when you pause, whether that’s at a cafe in a busy city or a park.

Puppy Training Classes
Adding a puppy to your family is a wonderful thing that will bring you incredible amounts of joy, laughter, and love, but it doesn’t come without responsibility. Your pup is deepening on you to give them their best life. That always means training because an obedient dog is a happy dog. Sit Means Sit offers puppy classes for young dogs who need to improve on common behavioral issues such as chewing, mouthing, jumping, barking, and potty training.
You want to correct bad behaviors while the dog is still developing and learning otherwise they become habits that can be incredibly hard to correct. Just because it’s expected for a puppy to be mouthy, doesn’t mean you have to deal with it. Pups are just as able to learn and grow as older, more mature dogs.

Group Classes
Group Classes are for any dog who has graduated the Day Training and/or Board and Train programs. These classes provide a fun, engaging environment for solidifying training in the real world while still allowing the trainer to control your dog’s exposure.
If you’re looking for a chance to make friends who are in the same stage of pet parenting as you, group classes are the way to do it. While your dog’s training is being reinforced and you’re learning how to maintain good behaviors, you are also being introduced to other dogs and pet owners who invested in their dog’s training, which automatically gives you common ground.
Our mission with these classes is to create training that isn’t undermined by things that will undoubtedly come your way. Other dogs, unfamiliar people, brand new sights, sounds, and smells are all common occurrences every time you leave your house. By participating in group classes, you are ensuring that both you and your dog will be be able to handle anything that comes your way.

Board and Train “Boot’s Camp”
It’s very common for dogs to have severe behavior problems such as potty training, bad manners, or even aggression, but that doesn’t mean you can’t correct these things. Even if your have no time, energy, or ability, there is an option for obedience training that will reinstate a good relationship between you and your dog.
The Board and Train, or “Boot Camp” program is for dogs who need to be fully immersed in the training and see powerful results in a short amount of time. The combination of dog boarding and efficient training allows for a transformative journey to take place. Leave your dog with us for 10 or 5 full days and see for yourself the kind of positive change that can take place.

We love customers and their dogs. They love us.
We consulted with a few trainers in the area and Rick and Erica were the best fit. They were able to answer all of our questions and even gave us a few suggestions before we got started. We did the “Fast and the Furriest” three day training. Rocco has been so much better since going…

I literally can’t get over how much little Sheldon learned just after day 1. I can’t wait to see how well he is after we are finished with the program. Definitely worth every penny
