Once a week for three weeks, owners drop off their dogs for a full day of dog training with a professional dog trainer. We work on obedience and training basic commands, as well as working on other personal training goals. Even the most stubborn dog will respond well to the Day Train program! When they have completed their three weeks, your dog will have excellent leash manners, good recall, and be able to settle in any distracting environment.

Puppies are so much fun! However, they are a lot of work, and it’s important to start socializing and build a foundation of basic obedience so they grow up into a happy and confident furry member of your family. Luckily, Sit Means Sit offers excellent puppy classes!

Our puppy classes jump-start the training process based on your puppy’s development! Our expert dog trainers offer new puppy owners guidance with potty training, basic commands, and other puppy-related behaviors such as chewing, nipping, jumping, or barking. We will help you tackle these normal puppy issues with positive reinforcement. Let us be there for your whole training experience, from basic obedience with your puppy to advanced behavior when they grow up.

Clients who have completed our previous training classes are invited to join us for Group Classes. Enjoy a chance to practice your dog’s basic commands while meeting new friends in the Sit Means Sit dog training community. Group classes work on improving your dog’s obedience while proofing their behavior around distractions.

We focus on control and obedience around real-world distractions and new environments with other humans and other dogs. Our goal is to give dog parents the skills and confidence to take their dogs anywhere and know they will obey no matter what. Whether it is reactivity, severe potty training, or unruly habits, these issues can be a lot for someone to handle. Especially for pet owners and their families with a busy schedule! If you are struggling with difficult behavior or a hectic calendar, our Board and Train “Boot Camp!” might be perfect for you. Drop off your pup for a fully immersive dog training boarding experience with our expert dog trainers!

Not only are our staff experts at dog training, but we also love taking good care of your furry family member. They will be well taken care of during 10 Full Days or 5 Full Days of complete training at our boarding facility. If you are missing your pup, they can come home for the weekend! Regardless, our dog trainers will focus on the dog training for your pooch while working on their behavioral challenges. Included is a private lesson to show you the training techniques that helped your dog succeed so you can continue reinforcing and showing off their good behaviors in real life!
