Dog Training Classes
Any Dog Any Age Any Problem

Day Training “Fast and the Furriest”
We know that life can get busy and that the dog’s training often isn’t the top priority. That’s okay! We’ve created a solution for you.
The Day Training Program (or, as we like to call it, the “Fast and the Furriest” Program) is for pet parents who want to be involved but who can’t spare the time for something as hands-on as private lessons.
Our trainers keep you updated on how your dog’s private training sessions are going and equip you to nourish the fruit of all their hard work. At pickup, there’s a one-on-one session that involves you, your dog, and a professional dog trainer so that you’re sure to be in the loop at all times.

Puppy Training Classes
Bringing home a new puppy is an incredible time full of a lot of love, laughter, and joy, but it’s also a lot of hard work. We’re prepared to help you navigate this time by providing puppy classes that will train your dog to be a confident, happy, obedient, and healthy adult.
Especially the first sixteen weeks of a dog’s life are crucial to their development. During that time, your pup is constantly learning, growing, and compiling a list of habits. You want to be sure that you’re in charge of that list and that the habits on it are only positive. The best way to ensure this is to go through an age-appropriate training class that will discourage natural puppy behaviors like chewing, mouthing, barking, and jumping while encouraging good behaviors like house manners, recall, and loose-leash walking.

Group Classes
These classes are exclusive to graduates of our Day Training and Board and Train Program, which means you can walk into the classroom confident that the dogs and people there are safe and that the trainer will take good care of you.
Our Group Classes expose you and your dog to real-world scenarios with other dogs and unfamiliar people. Our mission is to prepare you both for anything you might encounter and equip you to handle it positively.
No matter what your goals are, Sit Means Sit is here to help all achieve the kind of relationships with their pets that mean hitting up favorite hiking trails and taking long walks off-leash.

Board and Train “Boot’s Camp”
Some pet parents, unfortunately, find themselves struggling with negative (and severe) behaviors such as aggression, potty training problems, or bad manners. On top of not knowing what to do to correct these issues, many dog owners don’t have the necessary time to devote to such an undertaking. If that’s you, there’s no need to worry! We offer the Board and Train Program (AKA “Boot Camp”) for busy pet owners, people heading out of town, and those who want quick and long-lasting results.

Dog Owners Reviews
We love customers and their dogs. They love us.
We consulted with a few trainers in the area and Rick and Erica were the best fit. They were able to answer all of our questions and even gave us a few suggestions before we got started. We did the “Fast and the Furriest” three day training. Rocco has been so much better since going…
I can’t recommend Sit Means Sit – Licking Valley enough if you need a good dog trainer. We brought Storm, our black lab, home at just 6 1/2 weeks old and want to do everything we can to guide him to become a great family dog to join us on all our adventures. He has…
Highly recommend SIT MEANS SIT- Licking Valley. The dog trainers are knowledgeable and truly care about your pet. Our dog was so excited to see them after the first session. The exposure this training gave our puppy was amazing. This collar and training technique is an incredible tool to really cultivate your dog’s behaviors. We…
I literally can’t get over how much little Sheldon learned just after day 1. I can’t wait to see how well he is after we are finished with the program. Definitely worth every penny
