We consulted with a few trainers in the area and Rick and Erica were the
best fit. They were able to answer all of our questions and even gave us a
few suggestions before we got started.
We did the “Fast and the Furriest” three day training. Rocco has been so
much better since going through the training. Honestly, without it I don’t
know what I would have done. He’s actually controllable now and using
the place command and some of the techniques they taught us he’s been
doing a lot better with his potty training.
Rick and Erica took great care of our dogs and taught them better manners!
When I arrived to pick them up, I was then walked through the training and
how to reinforce the new behaviors using very simple commands !Within 5
minutes of being home, I started using new the commands and was
successful ! The communication with Rick and Erica has been great! They
were very open to answering my questions during registration and during my
training session! I look forward to socializing with the dogs and feel confident
they will be well behaved !
My husband and I took our 7 month old Doberman to them for a three
time, all day training. We struggled with pulling, big puppy excitement, and
of course seeing “squirrels” as a rambunctious Doberman pup does.
From day 1 we were amazed at the immediate turnaround we could use
that very night. Rick and Erica are dedicated trainers who listen to your
needs and accomplish every little detail you discuss. Your pup will thank
you – I look forward to a continued relationship as he grows 🐾
So pleased with the training my Chihuahua, Harley received.
Rick and Erica are great. Harley is a different dog. He’s
learned how to heel, sit, and manners and so much more.He
had anxiety around men with beards, and excessive barking.
He’s calm and obeys me now.Such a sweet boy…..
Highly recommend. Thanks again Rick and Erica.
The progress made with my two small dogs in a short period of time is
amazing! One was food aggressive, one was toy aggressive and neither
good listeners but now there is peace in my home. And thanks to their
field trips, my yorkie isn’t even carsick any longer. YES, you read that
correctly…an hour and a half ride home and no sickness! It’s a learning
experience for all but Rick, Erica and staff did a wonderful job of working
the pups and educating us thoroughly as well! Great team, great process,
highly recommend! THANK YOU!!
Rick and Erica run an excellent program. My 4-month
old Golden Retriever learned some incredible skills.
They work really well with the owner by passing along
the training program. I’m excited about having a well
behaved, highly trained dog. Their program is highly
recommended!!!
I can’t recommend Rick and Erica enough! My two dogs both had issues
with pulling on the leash, jumping on people, and coming when called. I
was amazed to see the progress they made in such a short time. Big
thank you to Sit Means Sit for allowing us to enjoy our dogs and be able
to take them everywhere we go. Top notch people. Did a Great job with
our dogs. Not only the dogs but we learned so much ourself. Highly
Highly recommend you you are looking to get your dogs trained.
I was a little worried when I read about their fast and furriest training only being 3 days,
I was thinking there is no way possible to train a dog! Or a puppy at that matter. My girl
Luna here is 5 months and just even after day 1 of training I saw a difference. My
puppy was eager to learn.Erica and Rick were top tier with her! Kept in good
communication and even updates through the day! It was so much more than I
expected and I leave the training with much more than a well behaved under control
puppy, I leave with what feels like family. They were confident and so reassuring on
everything. We were just as involved in the training which was so wonderful. We are first
time dog owners together and I’d go back again. Don’t hesitate on investing with them.
You WILL NOT regret it.
I found Sit Means Sit – Licking Valley while working at Lowe’s and was super intrigued with them almost
immediately. They brought dogs in all the time for training and I finally decided that’s where I wanted
Mocha to go. They told me it would only take 3 days of training with them spread through our 3 weeks. I
immediately laughed because they definitely didn’t know my dog she’s a nut lol but I can’t even begin to
explain the difference I saw in her on day 1! She struggled with so many things and it all boiled down to her
confidence. They helped her find that in herself as well as helping me be able to guide her with confidence
as well.
Today was Mocha’s graduation day and I cannot thank Rick and Erica enough for what they’ve done for
mocha and I. I can’t wait to see where I can take her and all the things we’ll be able to do together finally! If
you’re struggling with any training with your doggos I HIGHLY recommend sit means sit! They’ll help both
your dog and you as well 🤍🤍
I am amazed!! Day 1 and I basically have a
new puppy! we were struggling a lot with
training and this has been a godsend! i
couldn’t recommend them more!!

Sit means sit is the absolute best place to take your dog!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!
My daughters and I adopted Seven about a month ago and we were overwhelmed. He had bad separation anxiety, no crate
training, tons of pulling on the leash and accidents in the house. I’m not gonna lie, we were skeptical at first. I mean can a five
day boot camp really help with alllll these issues?? The answer is YES!!! Rick and Erica not only returned Seven happier and
with a long list of things they had taught him but I feel like we made new friends in the process. They texted us pictures and
updates every day which was like getting letters from your child at camp haha! When pick up time came they spent so much
time with my daughter and I teaching us how to use the new lead and collar and of course showing off Seven and what he
had accomplished with them!! They did not leave us until they made sure we were comfortable and confident and that we
could continue what they had worked so hard to achieve.
I didn’t mean for this to be so long but there are honestly not enough words to describe how TRULY GRATEFUL we are for Sit
means Sit and Rick and Erica. 😊
Our Ariel, 9mon old Australian Shepherd just graduated from training school. Rick, Erica, and Kayla
are so gentle at handling her. She suffered from anxiety and trust issues around others. She was
drooling so badly traveling that they were able to raise her confidant levels that after just 3
Mondays of training she has overcome this. The team gained her trust and she’s like a brand new
fur baby. She was even running from us when we tried to put a leash on her. Now no more! Her last
day of training she was wagging her tail smiling and happy to please. If you are needing help with
your fur baby it’s well worth the money and it will ease both yours and their frustration. Oh after her
long day of each training session the trainers then teach us how to handle her. Boy did we learn a
lot.
Thank you Rick🥰 Erica🥰 and Kayla🥰

Kayla and Erica have done a fantastic job with our pup Macy. After the first
session of the fast and furious training Macy had made huge
improvements. No more leash pulling, no door dashing, more attentive and
all around better manners. We just finished session two and can’t believe
Macy’s progress. Walking through the mall at a heal with lots of
distractions and even a bit of off leash training. Macy, my husband and I
have gained so much confidence and reassurance that we selected the
best training facility.
We were extremely lucky to have learned about Sit
means sit through Facebook. The fast and the furriest
was the best decision for our girls. Erica and Kayla are
amazing to work with and our girls just loved them. If
your debating whether it’s worth it or not, let me tell
you it 100% is. Your dogs are in great hands here.
We were worried when we heard it was a 3 day training but
on Gucci’s 1st day I couldn’t believe the change in her. She no
longer walks me ,we walk together. I highly recommend if
you want a GREAT PLACE TO GET UR FUR BABY TRAINED
GO TO SIT MEANS SIT LICKING VALLEY. RICK,ERICA AND
KAYLA ARE THE BEST. THANK YOU FOR TRAINING OUR
GIRL GUCCI SKYE.
I literally can’t get over how much little
Sheldon learned just after day 1. I can’t
wait to see how well he is after we are
finished with the program. Definitely worth
every penny
Highly recommend SIT MEANS SIT- Licking Valley. The dog
trainers are knowledgeable and truly care about your pet. Our
dog was so excited to see them after the first session. The
exposure this training gave our puppy was amazing. This collar
and training technique is an incredible tool to really cultivate
your dog’s behaviors. We are so happy and impressed with
what was accomplished in only three sessions. Thank you so
much!
I can’t recommend Sit Means Sit – Licking Valley enough if you need a good dog trainer.
We brought Storm, our black lab, home at just 6 1/2 weeks old and want to do
everything we can to guide him to become a great family dog to join us on all our
adventures. He has bonded well with the family. Labs can be quite the handful if not
raised properly. Storm started training with Sit Means Sit at about 12 weeks old. We
called it puppy junior college, but the formal name is the Fast and Furious Program.
Storm spent 1 day per week with the trainers for 3 weeks of intensive training with Rick,
Erica, and Kayla, who did an amazing job. Not only did Storm learn great house
manners and many other skills, we also learned how to continue training new skills as
he gets old enough understand them.
Sit Means Sit has truly exceeded all expectations in training our two dogs, one of
whom is deaf. Their approach to training is nothing short of amazing, demonstrating a
remarkable ability to cater to the unique needs of each dog. The trainers are not only
skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly personable, making the entire experience
enjoyable and reassuring. Their exceptional customer service further enhances the
experience, as they are always attentive and willing to address any questions or
concerns. The results speak for themselves — both of our dogs have learned quickly
and are thriving, thanks to the dedicated and professional team at Sit Means Sit. I
couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and wholeheartedly recommend their
services to anyone seeking any type of training for their fur baby’s
