Upper Falls Community Forest

This 3.3. mile trail is an out-and-back style that is generally considered pretty easy due to its low elevation gain. It takes an average of an hour and a half to complete and is a popular trail for birding, fishing, and hiking. It is open all year round and dogs are always welcome when on a leash.

Upper Falls Loop

This 2.9-mile loop is a more moderately challenging route with steeper hills totaling 367 ft of elevation gain. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to complete and is fairly popular for hiking, birding, and fishing. Black Bay Park Trail

This trail is a 0.7-mile out-and-back style route that takes a little over 15 minutes to complete so it’s perfect if you are looking for a quick walk with your dog. This is a stroller and wheelchair-friendly path that dogs are always welcome on while leashed.

Spokane River Trails

This t1.4-mile loop around Spokane River is generally considered easy to complete with only 55 feet of elevation gain through the entire trail. It takes less than half an hour to complete and is popular for runners, hikers, and paddle sports. Dogs must be on a leash while exploring this beautiful area.
