Board & Train
Going on vacation is an exciting thing, but finding a place for your dog to stay often is not. The beauty of our Board and Train program is that you can drop your dog off for a stay of 3-12 days at our Sit Means Sit facility, and during that stay, your dog will work with our professional trainers to become the best version of themselves. The training they receive will keep them happy, engaged, mentally stimulated, and loved so they can enjoy a stress-free vacation and return to a transformed dog.
You can still enroll your dog in this program even if you’re not leaving for a trip. It’s the most efficient path to a trustworthy dog, which makes it appealing to busy professionals and parents who don’t have the time or energy to devote to their dog’s necessary training.
At the end of your dog’s stay, you will need to partake in some homework that will allow you to step back into your role as the dog’s leader. This process isn’t intensive, but it is crucial. Our trainers will make sure you’re fully equipped to handle the process and your dog’s transition back into home life is seamless.

Day Care Training
Overnight stays aren’t within every dog owner’s comfort zone. If that’s you, don’t worry because we have already prepared. The Day Care Training program blends perfectly into your busy life or work schedule by utilizing a morning drop-off, and evening pickup.
Once a week for one, three, five, or eight weeks, you will drop your dog off at our facility for six to eight hours. When you swing back by to pick up your pet at the end of the day, there will be a one-hour session with one of our trainers to prepare you for maintaining your dog’s training.

Puppy Management
The first 16 weeks of a dog’s life are crucial in terms of training and development, which means you only want good behaviors to take root. Start your pup off on the right paw with classes instead of waiting until many bad habits have to be undone.
These classes teach basic skills like potty training, mark training, lure training, and general confidence to ensure your pup starts out well-behaved. The learning environment is fun, engaging, and in control of our professional trainers.

Private Lessons

Private lessons allow you to focus your studies with a sole trainer who quickly gets to know you and your dog. While working with other trainers is beneficial, there’s something special about one-on-one training.

Since you have already worked with our team, you can go through your day without worrying about whether or not your dog is being treated with kindness and much-deserved attention.

With over 20 years of dog training experience, I have had the pleasure of working and training with some of the top dog trainers and dog handlers both nationally and internationally.
Some of my recent accomplishments include providing Sport Dog and Protection Dog seminars, Obedience Classes, general dog in-services and training for specialized protection dog groups. I also am a Dog Sport Club Training Director and Instructor.
In addition to providing education and training services, I continue to attend countless training seminars and continuing education hours to include some of the most recent and up to date training techniques in the pet/dog industry. I also have my Dog First Aid/CPR certification, updated yearly.
My passion for training dogs has taken me to multiple Sport Dog competitions from AKC Obedience to Protection Sport Association (PSA). In the last few years with my dog ‘Rocky”, we have accomplished some of the highest levels of recognition in the Dog Sport world. Achieving multiple Regional and National Championships. This included 2015 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2016 PSA Level3 USA Highest scoring team of the year, 2017 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2017 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2018 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2019 PSA Level3 Canadian National Champion.
Throughout all my years of training I have learned the greatest enjoyment for me is being able to help and give others the ability to communicate with their dogs, creating a long lasting relationship. I truly feel blessed to be able to give back to the community by showcasing Sit Means Sit training as a smarter, faster and more reliable form of training to all.
While training dogs is my passion, I also have 6 dogs in my own”pack” at home including 4 Malinois, 1 German Shepherd, and the boss of the house, our rescue dog “Star”.
