Puppy Management in Howell Township, NJ
The first 16 weeks of your puppy’s life are incredibly important for creating a strong foundation of obedience and socialization. That is why our Puppy Management program is designed to use age-appropriate positive reinforcement training to get your new best friend on track to become a successful and well-behaved family dog!
Our trainers will give you the tools early on to train your puppy to behave appropriately. We are there to guide you through difficult puppy problems like hyperactivity, chewing, biting, and leash pulling. All the hard work and training you put in at this young age will help prevent bad habits later on!
Benefits of Puppy Management:
- A new puppy can be stressful, but with our expert help, you will have one less thing to worry about. With proper obedience training, your puppy will grow up into a happy, healthy, and confident adult dog.
- Work with a trainer to help correct troublesome behavior before it becomes a serious problem.
Day Train Program
For busy pet parents or dog owners who feel like their pet might need a little extra help, we would like to invite you to explore our Day Train Program! Like our Doggy Day Care program, you will drop your dog off at the training facility in the morning, but instead of playing, your dog will spend the whole day working with an expert dog trainer.
In the Day Train Program, your dog will have a weekly training session for one week, three weeks, five weeks, or our eight-week Diamond Program. At pick-up, your dog’s trainer will show you what your dog has learned during the day so you are a part of the process. What’s great about the Day Train Program versus a board and train is that you get to practice with your dog every night. That means your dog will have an easier time learning and generalizing their new behaviors!
When your program is finished, we will have a one-on-one with you to make sure you are happy. If you do not see enough progress in your dog, we will provide additional classes for free.
Once your dog has completed the Day Train Program, they are invited to join our Group Lessons! Or expand your dog’s training repertoire by continuing the Day Train Program to learn tricks, agility, or service-type behaviors.
This is the perfect option for:
- Working pet parents local to Howell, NJ, and Monmouth County
- Owners who want their dogs home at night
- Dogs who need a full day’s worth of training
(*Behavioral training may be covered under some pet insurance policies. Check with your provider!)

For up to 12 nights at our training facility, your pooch will have the full attention of our staff of amazing dog trainers, working with them day and night. After their Board & Train program is complete, your trainer will meet with you to show you what skills your dog has learned and show you how to practice at home. After a follow-up session to ensure you are happy with your dog’s new behavior, you are ready to join our Group Lessons for additional support!
If you have a trip planned, let us take care and train your dog in our Board & Train Program instead of leaving them at a boarding facility or with a dog sitter where they might get bored or stressed. (Please make reservations for specific Board and Train dates as soon as possible.)

This is a great option if you:

Dog Trainers & Staff
Professional trainers. Attentive friendly staff.
With over 20 years of dog training experience, I have had the pleasure of working and training with some of the top dog trainers and dog handlers both nationally and internationally.
Some of my recent accomplishments include providing Sport Dog and Protection Dog seminars, Obedience Classes, general dog in-services and training for specialized protection dog groups. I also am a Dog Sport Club Training Director and Instructor.
In addition to providing education and training services, I continue to attend countless training seminars and continuing education hours to include some of the most recent and up to date training techniques in the pet/dog industry. I also have my Dog First Aid/CPR certification, updated yearly.
My passion for training dogs has taken me to multiple Sport Dog competitions from AKC Obedience to Protection Sport Association (PSA). In the last few years with my dog ‘Rocky”, we have accomplished some of the highest levels of recognition in the Dog Sport world. Achieving multiple Regional and National Championships. This included 2015 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2016 PSA Level3 USA Highest scoring team of the year, 2017 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2017 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2018 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2019 PSA Level3 Canadian National Champion.
Throughout all my years of training I have learned the greatest enjoyment for me is being able to help and give others the ability to communicate with their dogs, creating a long lasting relationship. I truly feel blessed to be able to give back to the community by showcasing Sit Means Sit training as a smarter, faster and more reliable form of training to all.
While training dogs is my passion, I also have 6 dogs in my own”pack” at home including 4 Malinois, 1 German Shepherd, and the boss of the house, our rescue dog “Star”.
