No matter the type of canine behavior you would like to work with, we are confident that our professional training will be there to help. Some of the classes we offer include:
Day Training
Whether you need to work with your older dog or a new puppy, our day training will put them in contact with a dog trainer to handle the behavior. These courses last 1, 3, 5, or 8 weeks, depending on your needs, and include basic commands and the obedience training that you need. The pet owner will be able to learn some of the commands as well, allowing them to practice with the dog in their own environment, too. This is a basic course that can work well for all dogs.
Puppy Management
We are proud to offer puppy training for your new puppy, working on proper canine behavior from a young age. Using positive reinforcement, pet owners can manage their puppy through many issues, such as resource guarding, barking, chewing, and more.
Doggy Day Care
We welcome you to come and take a look at our doggy day care. This is not a training course, but many dogs will benefit from the mental stimulation and the socialization they can receive. When you are at work all day and want to make sure your dog is around other dogs and can get out of the house, then our doggy day care is the right choice for you.
Private Lessons
Many of our clients will choose to work on training through private lessons. These allow your dog to spend some time one-on-one with a dog trainer, working on specific behavior issues and ensuring that your pup or dog is ready to spend time around the family.
Group Lessons
In addition to the private lessons, your puppy or dog can do training in group lessons. This can handle canine behavior and allows trained dogs to spend time around many dogs, practicing some of the skills that they learned in other lessons.
Board and Train
Our board and train provide some of the best training around for your furry friend. We can work on obedience training with a dog trainer to ensure that your puppy is doing well, all while boarding them for 3 to 12 days

With over 20 years of dog training experience, I have had the pleasure of working and training with some of the top dog trainers and dog handlers both nationally and internationally.
Some of my recent accomplishments include providing Sport Dog and Protection Dog seminars, Obedience Classes, general dog in-services and training for specialized protection dog groups. I also am a Dog Sport Club Training Director and Instructor.
In addition to providing education and training services, I continue to attend countless training seminars and continuing education hours to include some of the most recent and up to date training techniques in the pet/dog industry. I also have my Dog First Aid/CPR certification, updated yearly.
My passion for training dogs has taken me to multiple Sport Dog competitions from AKC Obedience to Protection Sport Association (PSA). In the last few years with my dog ‘Rocky”, we have accomplished some of the highest levels of recognition in the Dog Sport world. Achieving multiple Regional and National Championships. This included 2015 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2016 PSA Level3 USA Highest scoring team of the year, 2017 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2017 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2018 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2019 PSA Level3 Canadian National Champion.
Throughout all my years of training I have learned the greatest enjoyment for me is being able to help and give others the ability to communicate with their dogs, creating a long lasting relationship. I truly feel blessed to be able to give back to the community by showcasing Sit Means Sit training as a smarter, faster and more reliable form of training to all.
While training dogs is my passion, I also have 6 dogs in my own”pack” at home including 4 Malinois, 1 German Shepherd, and the boss of the house, our rescue dog “Star”.
