Board & Train
It can be stressful leaving town and having to find somewhere for your dog to stay. You have to wonder how their care will progress and if you’ve made a good choice. Your vacation can be riddled with anxiety on the topic.
However, when you work with Sit Means Sit, you can enjoy a stress-free vacation. Our Board and Train program doesn’t just keep your dog’s love tank full. It teaches good canine behavior through positive reinforcement and the latest, most effective training methods. Leave your dog for 3-12 days and rest easy knowing they’re having the time of their life.
You can still take advantage of this program even if you’re not going out of town. It’s perfect for individuals who are too busy to attend training with their dog, such as professionals and parents. Leave your family dog with us for the most efficient route to a transformed dog.
The only thing that’s required of you during this process is, upon your return, you will have to reinsert yourself as an authority figure into your dog’s life. This may sound intimidating since your dog will have just spent quite some time learning from people who aren’t you, but you don’t have to worry. Our professional trainers are ready and waiting to fully equip you for the process so that you can transition your dog seamlessly back into their home life.
If you want to reinforce your dog’s training or just be a little more involved, take one of our group classes. They’re included in your Sit Means Sit Membership and happen twice a week. Plus, they’re a lot of fun!

Dog Trainers & Staff
Professional trainers. Attentive friendly staff.
With over 20 years of dog training experience, I have had the pleasure of working and training with some of the top dog trainers and dog handlers both nationally and internationally.
Some of my recent accomplishments include providing Sport Dog and Protection Dog seminars, Obedience Classes, general dog in-services and training for specialized protection dog groups. I also am a Dog Sport Club Training Director and Instructor.
In addition to providing education and training services, I continue to attend countless training seminars and continuing education hours to include some of the most recent and up to date training techniques in the pet/dog industry. I also have my Dog First Aid/CPR certification, updated yearly.
My passion for training dogs has taken me to multiple Sport Dog competitions from AKC Obedience to Protection Sport Association (PSA). In the last few years with my dog ‘Rocky”, we have accomplished some of the highest levels of recognition in the Dog Sport world. Achieving multiple Regional and National Championships. This included 2015 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2016 PSA Level3 USA Highest scoring team of the year, 2017 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2017 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2018 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2019 PSA Level3 Canadian National Champion.
Throughout all my years of training I have learned the greatest enjoyment for me is being able to help and give others the ability to communicate with their dogs, creating a long lasting relationship. I truly feel blessed to be able to give back to the community by showcasing Sit Means Sit training as a smarter, faster and more reliable form of training to all.
While training dogs is my passion, I also have 6 dogs in my own”pack” at home including 4 Malinois, 1 German Shepherd, and the boss of the house, our rescue dog “Star”.
