Board & Train
Finding a border for your dog can be stressful. You need to make sure they will be well cared for, happy, and safe. At Sit Means Sit, we offer not only that pristine environment for your dog to enjoy, but we combine that with our most efficient training offer. For 3-12 days, your dog will work with our professional staff to become their best self. The complete immersion into a learning environment is what makes this our most efficient route.
Even if you’re not going out of town, Board and Train might still be a good option for you. It works well for busy professionals and those who cannot devote the necessary time to training even though they understand the importance of it.
The only time you have to get involved is at the end of your dog’s stay. There is some homework to make sure you’re ready and able to handle the transition out of the training lifestyle and back into your regular life. There’s no cause for concern, however, because our team will make sure you have all the necessary tools and information needed to make things go smoothly.
After the Board and Train program is complete, you may want to attend a class to reinforce your dog’s training and further your own understanding of what’s needed to maintain good behavior. Our team offers these group classes twice a week, and they’re included in your Sit Means Sit Membership!

Day Care Training
If you’re not comfortable with overnight stays, that’s perfectly fine. We have an option for you that will still work perfectly with a busy schedule. The Day Care Training program is made up of morning drop-offs and post-work pickups.
Once a week for 1, 3, 5, or 8 weeks (depending on your needs), you will drop your dog off at our training facility for 6-8 hours of instruction from our team. When you return to pick them up and head home for an evening of bonding with your pet, there will be a 1-hour session with your dog’s trainer that will allow you to ask questions, hear about what your dog learned, and prepare to maintain all their hard-won training.

Puppy Management
Getting obedience training in the first 16 weeks of your dog’s life is smart because those weeks are the most crucial in development. By signing up early on, you and your pup are setting up for training that will last a lifetime.
At these classes, your dog will learn basic skills like mark training, potty training, lure training, general confidence, and, of course, obedience. At the same time, you get to learn how to be an authority figure in your dog’s eyes and reinforce their training on a daily basis.

Private Lessons
**Existing Clients Only
Private lessons are for the pet parent who wants to be directly involved in the outcome. These studies allow for a personalized approach from a single trainer who quickly gets to know your needs and those of your dog. Working in a group setting is very beneficial, but this one-on-one approach deepens the bond between a pet and an unparalleled owner.
Schedule a consultation and get your first four lessons on the calendar!
Doggy Day Care
Our Doggy Day Care is a place where our clients can leave their dogs and rest easy, knowing that we will continue to provide top-tier care. Though they won’t be put through training, your pet can experience a full or a half day of love, attention, mental stimulation, and joy.
Dog Trainers & Staff
Professional trainers. Attentive friendly staff.
With over 20 years of dog training experience, I have had the pleasure of working and training with some of the top dog trainers and dog handlers both nationally and internationally.
Some of my recent accomplishments include providing Sport Dog and Protection Dog seminars, Obedience Classes, general dog in-services and training for specialized protection dog groups. I also am a Dog Sport Club Training Director and Instructor.
In addition to providing education and training services, I continue to attend countless training seminars and continuing education hours to include some of the most recent and up to date training techniques in the pet/dog industry. I also have my Dog First Aid/CPR certification, updated yearly.
My passion for training dogs has taken me to multiple Sport Dog competitions from AKC Obedience to Protection Sport Association (PSA). In the last few years with my dog ‘Rocky”, we have accomplished some of the highest levels of recognition in the Dog Sport world. Achieving multiple Regional and National Championships. This included 2015 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2016 PSA Level3 USA Highest scoring team of the year, 2017 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2017 PSA Level3 USA National Champion, 2018 PSA Level3 USA Regional Champion, 2019 PSA Level3 Canadian National Champion.
Throughout all my years of training I have learned the greatest enjoyment for me is being able to help and give others the ability to communicate with their dogs, creating a long lasting relationship. I truly feel blessed to be able to give back to the community by showcasing Sit Means Sit training as a smarter, faster and more reliable form of training to all.
While training dogs is my passion, I also have 6 dogs in my own”pack” at home including 4 Malinois, 1 German Shepherd, and the boss of the house, our rescue dog “Star”.

Honestly the best decision I made was having my dog trained through Sit Means Sit. The price is totally worth the investment you will receive for years to come! We took our 4 year old lab Buster to Sit means Sit for some manners! He was a great dog but needed some manners when he was out and about! Our goal was to be able to bring Buster out with us to be part of our family! Buster started as a board and train…
AMAZING! Ray, and all of the amazing trainers, at Sit Means Sit have helped my boyfriend and I to properly train and understand our newly adopted adult Pitbull.
