Your dog stays with us for 10, 15, or 20 days while a trainer utilizes the most effective training methods to build a strong foundation of obedience. This is the perfect program for pet owners with busy schedules or planning a vacation. We do the hard training work for you so you get to pick up a happy, confident, well-behaved pup!
At pick-up, we will show you your dog’s behavior and new skills so you can continue reinforcing them at home and take over leadership!

Day and Train
If you need extra training help but also want to be involved and have your dog home at night, Day and Train is the perfect fit for your family! These training programs combine our Board and Train and Private Lesson membership options. Once a week, drop off your furry best friend for a full day of dog training where they learn obedience foundations and we properly train attention and control.
Your dog trainer will have private training sessions with you at pick-up to pass on their new skills so you can continue practicing and building their training experience at home!
Private Lessons
Our Private Lesson Membership is for dog owners who want to be directly responsible for their dog’s training success. Work with our team of professional trainers and gain the knowledge to become an expert on dog training and teach your dog their obedience skills yourself!

Once you have completed your foundation Sit Means Sit training program, you are invited to join Group Classes (included in every membership). This is the next step after dog training foundations and basic obedience, and the perfect way to start proofing your dog’s behavior around distractions in real-life scenarios.
Our professional trainers teach multiple Group Classes every week in our beautiful (and air-conditioned!) training facility and dog-friendly public locations. Group classes allow your pup to work safely around other dogs and their owners under the guidance of a dog trainer, to perfect and build on skills and good behaviors in the real world.

Matt is the proud owner of the Orlando Sit Means Sit Franchise, which was established in 2011. He owns four dogs; two Malinois (Kilo & Kage), & two Rottweilers (Diesel & Titus). He has been training dogs since 2009, when he started with his mother in law, Jori Pollard, the owner of another Sit Means Sit Franchise in Colorado.
The question gets asked “how did you get into dog training?” He will answer “I couldn’t pass a math class in college.” His driving force is to create an environment where people can come & learn how to do MORE with their dogs. A favorite quote of his is “Time is the most precious commodity that is out there. It’s the one thing that you can’t buy or ever buy back.”
Michele joined the Sit Means Sit family after being a client in 2020. Michele worked in the veterinary emergency medicine field for 4 years and general veterinary medicine for 3 years. Previously to that, she was a vet tech and has also done grooming, boarding and AKC confirmation shows since she was 15. Her Belgian Malinois, Kikka, was the dog that brought her to Sit Means Sit and now enjoys coming to work with her every day to help clients grow with their own dogs. When Michele is not at work, she enjoys doing dog sports with Kikka, like dock diving, FastCAT and weight pulling.
