Arrival Story: Goose was a rescue through Pee Wee’s pet adoption. He was at Petco the day my husband and I were out looking for me a dog. When I sat on the floor by the cage and asked them to get him out, Goose just crawled into my lap and curled up to snuggle….that was it, he had picked me. We continued to look for a dog since my husband didn’t want a boy or a dog that big. He didn’t want one that had that much hair, but Goose won my heart and the search was already over.

Doggie Bio: Goose is timid around other people and most dogs. He will growl at people and animals he don’t know and he has snapped at people who hold their hand down to him to back them off. Plus he had a habit of pulling the lead. After the Immersion week with Wes of Sit Means Sit, Goose is doing much better around people, animals and is able to walk the neighborhood mostly without a lead following my commands and understanding that he must sit at each intersection before getting the OK to cross any street. Training has helped him become a better member of the family.
